Welcome to Crossing Creeks Farm, where we are passionate about producing great food for our family's table and yours! Our love for dogs and hosting has lead us to build and open a private dog park right here on our farm. We encourage you to check out our website at www.crossingcreeks.com to learn more about what all we have to offer. Our dog park is just over 1/3 acre and fully fenced for safe off-leash fun! And we've partnered with Wondercide to also provide a safe area with natural treatment for fleas and ticks. Our park includes leash hooks, automatic dog waterer, agility equipment, waste bags, trash can, hand sanitizer, shaded seating area, dog dig pit, and gumball treat dispenser (be sure to bring a quarter or two!). And included with your spot, is the use of our self-serve dog wash. Wondercide has provided their amazing shampoos and flea & tick sprays for your pup(s) to go home feeling fresh and clean. Our on-site Farm Store offers a variety of goodies for both human and four-legged friends. And feel free to enjoy a walk on our walking trails through our woods and creeks. Please keep a leash on your pet(s) while not in the dog park. Shane and I and our two boys, Noah and Caleb live here on the farm, as well as my parents, Reid and Susan. Feel free to ask any of us any questions you may have while on the farm. And shoot us a message if you have any questions before coming out. Some of the other residents of the farm are our chickens, ducks, turkeys, cattle, pigs, and horses-all fully contained in their own fences. We offer horseback riding lessons here as well and host traveling guests through our on-site RV sites and campsite. If you'd like to enjoy a campfire during your visit, add a firewood bundle to your reservation and we'll have everything setup in the park upon your arrival-you just pack the s'mores! Our public restroom is just a short walk across the yard and driveway from the dog park. 10% of all profit will be donated to our local no-kill animal rescue here in Bedford County. Hello! I love dogs, but have none myself. I have a small backyard and below are some things to know about it: -Unused by children and dogs. -Privacy fence all around. -One light above concrete slab. -There is a security camera in my backyard. -Grass, one big tree and 3 smaller trees. Also has a small concrete slab. -Treated for pest and weed control. -It can get a little muddy when it rains. -Neighbors on either side have a dog. The house to the left has a medium sized dog and the house to the right has a smaller sized dog. (They are not left out all day. They may or may not be out for your visit.) -A little sloped toward the back. -My cats do use it when I am home, but will NOT be out for your visit. All my cats are current on vaccines. -There is a sliding glass door and two windows that face the backyard. Blinds/windows WILL be closed for everyone's privacy.
