Description

This is a great place to play Frisbee or chuck a ball, plenty of open space to run. Wear good shoes in case you want to trek through any high grass. The creek is fun for dogs even when it is dry since there are lots of good smells. There is a gate going to our neighbor's place, not visible from the field, that is kept open for the cattle and there are also a few places a medium sized dog can get through the fence. Long line is best for dogs that don't have a good recall.

Hazards

One area of the creek is deep with steep banks, dog must have good swimming skills in this one area. Uneven ground, possible pot holes made by animals.

We love animals and my own dogs just love playing in the field. My youngest dog, now 4, has required very careful exposure to new environments so I really get the importance of a trigger free area for dogs to feel safe. I just want to share the special place we have with other dog lovers.
