Description

Sweetwater Court Private Dog Playground and Garden is perfect for an apartment pet, condominium pet or the traveling pet who needs a break to run and play off leash. Additionally we have many guests desiring safety for dogs and children to play together. Bring a friend, have a picnic while your dogs play. This is not just our yard; it is our field to the side of our house and a little more than half an acre is fenced. Another 5 1/2 acres offers privacy and serenity. Feel free to let your pet run through the fenced field and dig in the garden. They love sniffing all of the plants and running the rows . We don’t mind! There are plenty of interesting areas for your pet to explore and run and a lot for them to sniff and explore. The field is mowed weekly and may have some bare spots and occasionally dog poop. We are not UPSCALE. ALL BREEDS WELCOME. There is fun for Small and Large dogs. We are located in Southern Guilford County, just 2 miles off Interstates 85 and 73 and 5 miles from Wendover Ave with easy access. We have a water spigot on the property, free puppy pool, hose and spraying fire hydrant. We now have the Sunflower She Shed with an 8 foot covered porch with fan and an air conditioned and heated interior room with refrigerator and snacks to purchase. There is a wonderful glider in the shade, several benches with cushions, a hammock, zero gravity recliner, pillows and a lounging blanket are always included. We have additional extras, and feel free to make yourself at home. Please follow us on Facebook and Instagram for additional specials. For people Extras are available such as snacks and cold drinks and frozen ice cream found in the Sunflower She Shed refrigerator/freezer. We have a Keurig coffee pot, Hot Chocolate and Hot tea available.

Ground is not level. This is a garden and field, the ground is not level. Please be careful. Do not lean on railings of the Sunflower She Shed. There are signs to remind you. We appreciate you coming. If you want to bring your dog and sit in a recliner, we will open up other gates for you. We will also provide everything for your dog. Read our reviews.

We have several different flavors of pup cups. The whip cream is in the refrigerator. We also have spray cheese for the cheese and bacon flavored ice cream pup cup.

Birthday or Gotcha Day Cake$15

This cake is shaped like a dog bone. It is peanut butter flavored with peanut butter frosting. See picture in our photos. It is a big hit and healthy too. Min of 48 hours notice.

Dog Pool$5

Anytime the weather is over 80 degrees we put the dog pool out free. There is always a puppy pool. If you would like the bigger Dog pool, choose this option.

Fire Pit and S’mores$15

We start the fire and provide everything needed to make S’mores for up to 4 people. We must have advanced notice of 24 hours with afternoon or evening hours preferred. Bring a picnic and top it off with S’mores. You can even use the grilling sticks for hot dogs.

Frozen Beef Bone Marrow Bone$5

A FAVORITE for dogs. Treat your pet with One baked then frozen Beef Bone Marrow Bone. Your pet will love the bone marrow in the middle and cleaning their teeth while gnawing the bone. They last a Long time. Hands down this is the favorite dog treat. If you need more than one, contact me before the visit and ai will have it available at an additional charge.

Last Min Extras$0

SNIFFARI and S’mores$30

We will place treats all around the property for your dog to Sniff Out while you and your family, sit around the campfire enjoying making S’mores. All ingredients included. We will even leave a warm bone marrow bone near the campfire for your pup to enjoy. This is the #1 Amenity we offer. Text me with questions 3363821719.

Sniffari for 2$15

Hidden treats within the field and garden. This is our number one request. Let your pups sniff out quality treats throughout the field and gardens. You can trlac or help them find them. Spoiler alert. There is always treats hidden on the dog house.

SNIFFARI Scavenger Hunt$10

The # 1 most requested extra. 4 Special treats will be hidden around the perimeter of the Playground allowing your dog to “Sniff them out”. On this SNIFFARI Adventure. There will also be a few other treats hidden in the garden area. Let your furbaby go wild searching. It has been a HUGE hit for everyone who has tried it. Also ADD a bone marrow bone extra and we will let you hide it once your pup is on the hunt.

Additional rules

Be positive that the entry gate is closed please. This is simply to protect your pet. We do require a copy of your dogs vaccination records before visiting. For vaccinations, we require that all visiting dogs have current DHPP or DA2PP (distemper, hepatitis, parainfluenza, and parvovirus), and rabies vaccines or current titers. We also recommended flea and parasite preventative. Plz post with reservation or you can email me cathward711@gmail.com or text a picture of them to me 336-382-1719. Thank you for your understanding. You are allowed to smoke or vape on the property. We will gladly provide an ashtray for you if needed. Please be sure to extinguish. Please DO NOT SIT OR LEAN ON THE PORCH RAILINGS. IT IS DANGEROUS, Small children should not climb on the Sunflower She Shed but are welcome on the porch and interior. The property is not level, watch your step.

We Love dogs. I have had multiple dogs my entire life. We decided to open this private playground because we want all dogs to have the opportunity to enjoy what our dogs love. Here we offer the chance to get totally warn out by exploring and playing in safety. Give us the opportunity to spoil you and your dog. Let us know what makes you happy. I will make that happen. I know it is odd, but we have no cameras on our dog Playground. We just want privacy for our guests just like I would want for me. All pictures and videos of visiting dogs were sent to me via text message. We enjoy giving back to our community. Guilford county Dogs Day Out, DDO, come at a very reduced cost and most times FREE. We also provide them with a pup cup. If you want to contribute to them in excess of what you are paying, there is a clear money box inside the Sunflower She Shed in the Playground. That is where every guest should start their visit. You will find everything you need plus quality treats there.
