35My pup had a great time during our visit! There was a ton of activities for him to do, and plenty of space for him to run around. We did hear quite a bit of barking from neighborhood dogs. The main issue was that there was a TON of construction happening on the street and there were multiple instances where someone would come right up to the fence of where we were. On one occasion someone had left his jacket hanging on the fence and came to get it, causing my dog to get distracted from play and run over to bark at him as the man was standing by the fence watching my dog bark for a minute or two. Most of the time we were visiting there was very loud machinery in action, so it was super loud. Also, there was a very large (maybe 10 ft) dumpster directly outside the fence for the construction and men were standing on top of it for 10ish min while we were there. This was a little upsetting to my dog, as the man was like 10 ft up from ground level. I wish that we had been notified about the construction, as we probably would have opted to go elsewhere, but I think this spot would be super fun if there were less constant distractions. Despite the other dogs and the construction issues, my dog had a lot of fun running around and we will likely return in the future when there is hopefully less construction!

55My two dogs and I had such a great hour of fun at Cup’s Haven! It was truly a dog’s paradise! The property was huge and beautifully maintained. It was just perfect for them to run around and chase balls. In addition to playing ball, there are also all types of obstacle courses and equipment for the dogs to enjoy! We will definitely be returning!

We have a pet, husky/lab/boxer mix. he is very playful, energetic, and smart! his name is Buttercup or Cup for short! He likes playing on the field too! We make sure he is inside the house during guests’ visits.

Our dog Cup may bark to say "hi!" when he senses your presence close to our home. He will stop though as he does not really like to bark much. Sometimes we let him out at our back yard which is bounded by a fence - from backward away from the SniffSpot. We do not let him out if we know there is a guest. Best to come and leave on time so we can let Cup out when he needs to relieve himself.

Some of our neighbors walk outside towards the park, or sometimes my family and I will be in the driveway. We do our best not to disturb guests during their visit. Sometimes we say “hi” when appropriate, but for the most part, we let guests spend quality time with their pups! We don’t want them to be riled up with our presence.

Guests may park on the unpaved-driveway of the vacant lot, and may go through the gate. Guests may enter through the gate underneath the treehouse as well. For first time guests, please feel free to enter the side yard. No need to knock on our door. Once you book our place, we will receive a message from SniffSpot app esp. when you book it ahead of time. Also, we have outdoor surveillance cameras. You may park in our driveway (under the carport) on weekdays before 5 pm, but kindly park on the unpaved-driveway by the gate (on the vacant lot) through out the weekends. Sometimes, our kids play on our driveway when they are not in school. They know though not to bother the guests.

Description

Our house sits on a 1.2 acre lot. We have a side yard that is roughly an acre which is fully fenced in. Our dog, Buttercup, loves to run around here to play with us! We’d like to welcome other dogs too, right here in the heart of Spring branch!

The ground may have uneven areas. Kindly watch your steps! Watch for tree roots and ant piles too! We do not use fertilizer or other chemicals on our vacant side-yard but we do use granules on ant piles. Our property backs up on a ditch and we have chain link fence by it.

Guests can go up to our treehouse during their stay. Guests can use it for meditation, yoga, etc. Use of the treehouse though is at your own risk. Guests agree not to hold us liable for any accident that may occur with the use of the ladder/treehouse. Also, we can’t guarantee that it will not be free from leaves, gum balls, branches, or any animals (squirrels, birds, etc.) during your scheduled use. Guests please closely observe your pet/s through out your visit so you can pick up after them. This is a requirement per SniffSpot. Please know that hosts can block guests who are not cleaning up after their pets. If one choses to relax and not observe their dogs closely in order to clean up after them, then by all means, let us know by availing extras for "CLEAN UP". In this way, we can make sure that the next guests will have a clean space like you did. Also, please do not bring home the toys that we provide for guests' use. It's for everyone’s use including ours, Cup. Thank you!
