Me and my wife have a little Hobbie farm and a large piece of property. We love animals and would love to share our space with others that don't have the opportunity to experience nature with there dogs on a daily basis.
IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD Welcome to Tails n Trails Retreat Private Park & Trail! We look forward to sharing our spot with you, your family, friends, and of course your doggos! PARKING: Please park your vehicle in the Sniffspot parking lot PAST the big silver gate. DO NOT PARK in front of the house or dog daycare. LEASHES: Please leash your dogs on weekdays when the dog daycare is open Monday to Friday 7:30am-5:30pm until you are on the trail and when returning to the parking lot if they don’t have reliable recall. DOG POOP: Please use a stick to flick your dog’s poop out of sight and off the trail. RESPECT NATURE: No smoking or littering. Please keep our Sniffspot beautiful and safe from potential fire. Where there is a 6 foot tall fence so that dogs are secure even in the winter with a few feet of snow on the ground. I just recently set this up as family friends recommended I try it, so please be patient as I improve things to make it more guest friendly. Hope your four legged friends enjoy it as much as my dogs do.
Welcome to Beaverton's Dog Trails! Please access the trails from Concession 6. Punch these coordinates into Google Maps: 44.4415942, -79.1065234. There is a SniffSpot Sign at the entrance. You may park in the private driveway. Please pick up after your dog, there is a waste bin at the entrance. Please help yourself to a laminated map at the entrance and return after your walk. The map is posted throughout the trails with "you are here" symbols to help you navigate the trails. After a heavy rainfall you will want to wear your rubber boots. In the winter be aware of slipping on patches of ice. Trail Update (January 12): The river is now frozen. Always be cautious if you decide to cross it. Enjoy your visit! Give your best friend(s) a Romp to Remember! We have groomed trails looping through our acreage with a seasonal "pond" and so much to sniff and see your friend will be rolling with happiness. IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD
IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD 20+ acres, with approx 1500M - 2 KM of cleared trail for winter, and about 4KM of trail accessible when there is no snow Roam the pine/birch forest or stick to the groomed trails There is a small fenced area where you and your dogs can hang out, and, if there is advanced notice, a fire can be lit in the outdoor wood stove, to keep you warm while the dogs play. PLEASE FLICK FAR or PICK UP YOUR DOG'S EXCREMENT while roaming on the groomed trails. There is a green bin to drop it in on your way off the property. No one likes "stepping in it." The trails aren't fenced in, but they extend behind and/or beside the house and are situated away from the road.
