Hello!! Just a stay at home mom, living in the middle of the woods trying to earn some extra cash. I have 2 dogs (1 lab, 1shihztu) and 3 cats. It is peaceful where I am at, and full of nature all around us!

Please confirm date and time prior to reservation 😃 Hoosier’s on the ridge sits on 15 acres right next to Yellowwood State Forest! This land provides all terrain options for whatever your dog desires. You can stay close to your car in a field setting or walk deep into the valley to explore the creek bed on a hot day. I have built 4 campsites on the property (also for rent,) so there are 4 unique sitting spots, hammocks, tables, and fire pits. We have 2 golden retrievers (1M/1FM, both fixed) and a golden doodle (1m/fixed) who can either be put in the house during your visit or come socialize, whatever you prefer. There is plenty of parking. Our fenced yard is about 2 acre. There is also a chicken run fenced separately where your dog can check out some chickens. The entrance to the yard is a gate between the house and garage. Please replace the carribeaner when you leave. And have fun!

Barkov Park (2 acres, fully fenced w/ pond) In Plainfield

**Winter Update! If it has been below freezing for an extended period of time we will have a partially iced pond. It is NOT safe to have dogs running on the ice. Please message for current pond status and plan accordingly. A recall is needed when ice is present on the pond** Enjoy a fully fenced (4 foot wire mesh livestock style fencing) run through mowed grass, NEW tall natural meadow (we are “rewilding” a portion of our yard to native plants), two short wooded trails and access to a large pond with dock. Dogs are welcome to swim—bring towels and be prepared for some mud if it’s been raining or you have a pond monster doggy. Woods have wonderful smells, my dogs sometimes find delightful things to roll in. A hose is available for use on warm days and there is a nearby Tractor Supply if your pup needs a spa treatment after their romp. We do have chickens on site and ask you not allow your dog to harass them as you enter and leave (chickens are in a separate fenced area and in a coop/run). My dogs will be in the house—some barking may happen on your arrival but they will not be loose. Wildlife may be encountered (deer, squirrels, crawfish, muskrats, many birds and snapping turtles). **Note: I didn’t want to claim the site as accessible as it is grass and some uneven ground, but feel free to reach out if you need an accommodation to access the spot and we can discuss what is possible** We welcome all. The Dog House on Opossum Run

Here at The Dog House we have 12 acres divided into 4 different areas depending on your pup’s needs. We also have a small area of woods and a creek to explore. You will have access to the electricity and water in the The Dog House (barn) and shelter in case of rain.
