***Charges in USD*** Come enjoy our 100 acre property with an established trail, a pond and a hilltop area with a picnic table, seating and fire pit. We are located only 10 minutes west outside of Peterborough. Our property is home to wildlife such as turkeys and deer - although it may be rare to spot them. **WINTER DISCLAIMER** Due to the size of our property, our trails are not plowed during the winter so we highly recommend wearing winter boots, spikes, snowshoes to enjoy the trails.
***Unfortunately we will be closed due to damage and paths being covered from fallen trees until farther notice. **** IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD 90 acres of trails, sticks and tastefully added seating for you to enjoy with your pup.
Welcome to Beaverton's Dog Trails! Please access the trails from Concession 6. Punch these coordinates into Google Maps: 44.4415942, -79.1065234. There is a SniffSpot Sign at the entrance. You may park in the private driveway. Please pick up after your dog, there is a waste bin at the entrance. Please help yourself to a laminated map at the entrance and return after your walk. The map is posted throughout the trails with "you are here" symbols to help you navigate the trails. After a heavy rainfall you will want to wear your rubber boots. In the winter be aware of slipping on patches of ice. Trail Update (March 11, 2025) The river is too high to cross due to flooding. Please enjoy the trails on the side of the river you park at. Follow our Facebook (Beaverton Dog Trails) for more regular updates. Trail update (March 17): We have had a lot of snow melting this year. Rubber boots are recommended for the trails. Trail update (March 23): The trails south of the river remain closed due to flooding. Rubber boots are still recommended for the rest of the trails. Enjoy your visit! Our property offers a peaceful and scenic escape for you and your pup. The grassy waterway features a small creek, perfect for dogs who love to splash or explore. Walking trails are thoughtfully cut through the grass for easy navigation, and there’s a small open area ideal for a game of fetch. For those looking for even more adventure, guests are welcome to roam the 70+ acres of open farm fields to the south. Whether your dog loves to run, sniff, or stroll, there's plenty of space to enjoy!
