55What a wonderful Sniffspot. Parker really enjoyed himself and so did I. Loved the swings. Hey I would rent this place without a dog lol.
55Spot was clean and everything described was provided for. Thank you so much—we enjoyed our stay!
55Cooper loved having the space to run freely around. Great spot. Sad to see it close! I don’t think he has ever had this much free space and my heart is full! 🥹
55The yard was pretty clean and definitely good size for my 2 hyper dogs
55Great big yard with trees for shade and fully fenced. Water, bowls, toys, chairs, and poop scooper were all available. No wifi bc they’re moving. The dogs loved it!
55Owner was very helpful with instructions to the place and where to park. Water bowls & water were provided. My doggo really enjoyed all the open space. And both of us enjoyed the shade provided by the trees. An hour here wore him out haha! Thanks Mattie~
55Great yard in a quiet neighborhood! Hosts were very nice!
55Awesome yard for our pup to play! Plus our kids had fun swinging on the swings (so did we).
55Our pup LOVED our time at this Sniffspot! The yard was huge for her to run around and she loved all the grass to roll in. Mattie introduced herself to us and was very kind and welcoming. She thought of everything and made sure water was available for us and our pup, bug spray, and so many toys. We also loved being able to swing on her EPIC tree swings while our dog played. We'll definitely be back!
55Perfect spot to let my wild puppy run her face off and also for my senior to casually stroll about!

Description

Spot closing 10/15! We're moving (and hopefully re-opening a new spot in Donelson!) and we've loved sharing our yard with you! Come by for a last romp in the yard before we're closed. Conveniently located approx. 6 miles north of downtown Nashville, about 2 miles off I-65 and about a mile off Briley Pkwy near I-24. Park-like back yard setting perfect for pups that love to run and play fetch! Or just walk around and sniff! There's plenty of space for a puppy play date, as well! You are welcome to use any of the chairs, tables, or swings to relax while your pup plays! We'll leave a freshly filled water bowl or two out for your pups plus an extra jug to refill. We provide a chuck it, some tennis balls and frisbees in case your dog likes to fetch! Poop scoop with a bag inside is also available, please toss your poop in the trash can closest to the gate on your way out. :) Hand sanitizing wipes, bug spray and bottled water for the humans available in case you need them! *We do have a creek nearby so after a heavy rain, the yard may be very muddy with some ponding areas. I do not recommend booking the day after a heavy rain and I may not always remember to make the yard unavailable on the schedule, so I assume if you book after rain, you are ready for a muddy pup! :)

We have two rescue pups of our own: Wyatt, 9; and Winter, 3. We have often called our back yard our own personal dog park, so we are happy to share it with others! Thanks for checking out our spot, we've tried to provide all the amenities you need to have a fun visit! Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or if we can improve your visit to our spot!

October 1, 2024 - Our SniffSpot is open! *********************** See you Fall 2024! We have closed the spot to allow a medical foster in our home to go through extensive heartworm treatment. We will be keeping her quiet and calm, as required for heartworm protocol, so that she will be healthy and ready for adoption in September! Our Spot will open again October 1, 2024! ******************** Welcome! Your fee is 100% donated to Critter Calvary Rescue of Williamson County, in memory of our dogs in my pictures, who have passed away of old age. We have 2 areas for your dog! Front yard with Iron Fence and human seating! Back yard with chain link fence and human seating - and a deck with seating! The back yard is mostly dirt and on a hill, with some ground leaves and grass. If you wish a flat yard with lush grass, we highly suggest booking a grass SniffSpot, Ashley's SniffSpot at https://www.sniffspot.com/listings/nashville-tn/ashley-s-private-nations-dog-park-53368 which is just a mile from our SniffSpot! Another flat spot with grass is https://www.sniffspot.com/listings/nashville-tn/thomas-s-private-dog-park-in-nashville-77729 Spring 2023: a few guests found small shards in our Sniffspot. We have taken this very seriously, and have landscaping pros inspecting each day to remove hazards. Our research found that the families in the 1950's would burn their trash in the back yard, so the shards have emerged in the dirt surrounding our older home. We are digging and removing these each week.

DISCOUNTED HOURLY RATE? MEMBERSHIPS AVAILABLE! If you visit often, like many do, consider savings of becoming a member and enjoy a discounted hourly rate. Whether you're a member or not, After the first dog, all dogs are always 50% off the hourly rate! Members also enjoy the multi dog 50% benefit in addition to discounted lower hourly rates! Stack discounts! The savings add up! 👍 We hope you will visit Nashville's very first Sniffspot and the most popular Sniffspot in middle Tennessee to this day! Read on for details … we love sharing our secret place! This Sniffspot is very conveniently located in southeast Nashville, 20 minutes from downtown, right near Bell Rd/Nolensville Rd between the Hickory Hollow pkwy/Tanger Outlets i24 and Bell Rd exits and the Brentwood i65 Old Hickory Blvd exit. An idyllic setting offers 7+ park-like acres of old farm land, mostly fenced, that includes waterfront access to Mill Creek with adventures for all kinds of humans and dogs to enjoy activities like playing, running, sniffing, digging and playing in the water. Come get your steps in and spend some quality off-leash time! Training, photo shoots, picnics, birthday and gotcha parties, just explore, rest, or relax in the Adirondack chairs while your dogs sniff, zoom, roam, retrieve, sniff, dig, walk, run, and sniff some more. There's creek access to swim, pastures to nap, play areas of tall grass the dogs can explore, dig or derp around. Even plan your picnic on a blanket or use the picnic table. Get some exercise on the trampoline (Note: use at your own risk!). Make this sniffspot your private oasis for as long as you want.. Kids are always welcome! Just book your play time, bring at least one dog and all humans are free! Mill Creek borders the very back of the property and is available for water play but trees and vegetation and overall acreage makes it easily avoidable if that's not your thing. If you choose to venture to the creek and have a runner, you may want to bring a long lead. The water levels are usually below the knee, but the ability to use Mill Creek safely depends on you, the creek conditions, and amount of recent rainfall. Always assess the abilities of you and your pets- as safety comes first! As Dirty Harry once said, "A man's got to know his limitations." The majority of the property has fencing so once you pass the house on your way to the back fields it's off leash play time! I recommend consider walking the perimeter first (on or off leash) to orient yourself with property features and assess potential escape opportunities. Your dog(s) will benefit from a perimeter walk allowing them to visually identify, mark their spots, and collect sniffs while at the same time reaping the benefit of your pack leaving an invisible "bread crumb" scent trail as you walk which will assist a dog with future identification of the established boundaries as well. This is a natural instinct for many breeds. Note that Mill Creek along the back of the entire property is not fenced but it is mostly obscured at dogs level by trees and vegetation. Tip: When leaving, you may want to leash up before you reach the house - especially if you have a runner since there is no fence on the side of the house you enter and leave the spot. Depending on the water table, there is also a small feeder stream gently flowing through the middle of the property between the side and back fields. It can be great fun for a dog to explore and jump in and out of (just try and stop them!) And great for smaller dogs if Mill Creek is too intimidating. Hint: bring towels! The mature tree lines always provide plenty of shade for those hot summer months. Several foot bridges are available to cross over that small stream between the side and back fields while exploring, and you might even find the occasional old fashioned rope wood swing. 7Acres Challenge: See if you can find the hidden steps! A black hose with spray wand attachment is hanging by the house at the entrance/exit if you need to rinse you or your pet. Another green hose is available hanging on the opposite corner in the back of the house by the BACK garage door for your use along with a water bowl. Feel free to pick yourself wildflowers if they are blooming (late Spring/Summer Varieties), or snack on some blackberries off the fence line if you happen to come while they are ripening (usually mid-June to mid-July).... Bug spray is always recommended spring through fall, Just in case! You can't have all this nature without all the nature. 😉 If the calendar shows the time slot you want is available then book it and it's yours! Be last minute, that's fine! Be spontaneous, that's great! No advanced notice required. (2 hour minimum cancellation required.) Did I mention memberships? 😉Lower the hourly rate with a monthly membership!!
