55We come to Peppers backyard a lot but this time we took one of our newest rescues (we own a dog rescue), to enjoy our favorite doggy haven. It's safe to say she had a blast. Sundae discovered she likes to swim and the life jackets that were available, were very helpful! We loved the bubble machine, towel warmer and the tug pole thing! We can't wait to come back again and again. This is by far the best Sniffspot location ever. Thank you for putting so much effort into this. It's such a peaceful and healing spot for us humans too.
55We loved it. Everyone enjoyed the place… dogs and humans ❤️ Definitely we will come back! Thank you Marianne.
55So grateful for Pepper’s Backyard! The perfect place to let my reactive dog off leash and not have to worry about other dogs or people ☺️
55If I could leave more than five stars, I would. The attention to detail was absolutely incredible. It wasn’t just renting a yard for my dogs. It was an entire experience. My dogs names were written on a cheap welcome sign along with on their water bowls they were numerous refreshments for me, and if I brought a guest, as well as so many dog treats and toys. I have two rescue dogs who are both really reactive and I was recently relocated to an apartment so I have not had a yard for them and it’s been very very challenging for them to get proper exercise. Being able to come here and let them run freely for an hour was absolutely amazing. Going on walks and even to my neighborhood dog park is always a stressful experience for all three of us as we never know if there is going to be a hostile run in with another dog, being able to come here and experience a private yard for my dogs to enjoy Was just indescribable. I appreciate everything about this day and I look forward to rebooking as soon as possible. Other key details, the yard was extremely private. I never heard or saw any other animals. The fences were high enough, which is always a concern of mine as I have a very agile husky, the yard was massive plenty of room to run long strides, a ton of toy options for those with picky animals. Also swimming equipment, pool, toys, towels, dog vests, seriously, anything and everything you could possibly want was provided. This was so far beyond anything I was expecting and I am so very happy.
55I can’t say enough great things about this place! It’s absolutely beautiful, and I can’t wait to come back. Marianne has thought of everything—there are toys, treats, and even ice cream for the dogs, plus drinks, snacks, coffee, and tea for the humans. You can immediately tell she’s a true animal lover. The cleanliness is unmatched, and I love that the used toys get sanitized after each visit. It was such a wonderful experience, and we will definitely be back!
55We had such a good time! Really loved the addition of the tug pole, Nala loved it.
55Thanks Marianne. Everything was wonderful 🥰🥰
55GREAT PLACE, FREE SNACKS, BIG YARD & CLEAN POOL
55Host is extremely nice, backyard is very clean. Host provides so many amenities for both your fur friends and humans. We were welcomed with our names on a sign and my dogs name on the dog bowl, very small detail but made us feel at home. We vacation here every year and will make this an annual trip as long as it's offered!
55My family and my dogs keeping loving this spot, so clean and too many amenities for the dogs and the humans. Feeling like a dogs resort. I love the Idea for warm towel ❤️❤️ i definitely recommend this place. It is perfect for everyone. Thank you Marianne we always have so much fun 🫶❤️🐶

in october 2022, my next door neighbor came to my house with a severely neglected 14 month old shih-apso puppy named benji that she had rescued. benji was living in the dominican republic in someone's backyard to fend for himself. when i got him he was completely matted from head to tail, had never eaten or drank water from dog bowls and thought everyone he saw was to be reckoned with. he is in the process of being trained so if you come into my home to use the bathroom, benji will bark. i also have 3 rescue rabbits (bunjovi, bailey the bunny and thumper the humper) and a rescue hamster (houdini-dreamer) but they don't make any noise and are strictly inside dwellers. benji also stays inside with me during sniffspot guest visits. there have been instances of huge hawks flying overhead, squirrels playing in neighboring trees, small brown anole lizards, dragon flies, moths and lubbers.

Description

Summer is the most fun time! Do you and your dog(s) like to swim? Would you like to be able to swim with your dog(s) in a clean sparkling saltwater pool? Pepper's Backyard offers you both! Not only the use of our private backyard, but you and your dog(s) have the option to swim in our beautiful sparkling refreshing saltwater swimming pool for an additional fee of $10 per dog per visit! Sign up for this option under the "EXTRAS" section. There are less expensive Sniffspots in Orlando you can visit, but none of them offer the amenities that Pepper's Backyard And Pool does. If you want to enjoy the dog days of summer swimming in a beautiful, clean, refreshing saltwater swimming pool with your dogs, Pepper's Backyard and Pool is the spot for you! Make your reservation now! Fully fenced in large backyard for your dog(s) to run around and play in. This spot is perfect for any dog, but especially for reactive dogs that aren't able to run free or be around other dogs or people. When my dog Pepper was alive, I couldn't take him to public parks without him having to be muzzled and tethered to a very short leash. Pepper was a mix of Chow, Siberian Husky, German Shepherd, and Wolf. Unfortunately, he was not able to be socialized. But he enjoyed his backyard, and now I'm offering Pepper's Backyard to other dogs like Pepper and for every dog to run free, play, and be happy off leash. For an additional fee of $10 per dog per visit, your dog(s) can cool off in Pepper's saltwater pool. **Please sign up for the pool under "Extras" *** Dog(s) must be accompanied by a human while they are in the pool and use a water vest or floatie if needed (not provided by Host) and Dog(s) and Human(s) must be able to swim in up to 6 feet of water. You are visiting our home where my family and I live. Please be respectful of our home and clean up any mess before you exit our property. There is a broom on the patio you can use. No drugs or alcohol is to be brought to or consumed at Pepper's Backyard per Sniffspot's Guest rules. Please pick up your dog(s) poop. If you don't have dog poop bags, there will be some provided for you on the patio table. Please place used soiled dog toys and towels in the laundry basket located on the patio so they can be cleaned and sanitized for the next guest. You are required to use caution and care when swimming. There is to be no diving into the pool. There are no lifeguards on duty. You, your dog(s), and any guest you bring agree that you are swimming at your own risk and assume all liability for yourself, your dog(s), and anyone you bring with you. Prior to your visit, you are required to inform Host thru the Sniffspot app of all humans and dogs you are bringing to PEPPER'S BACKYARD. Please be careful not to throw balls or frisbees over the fence and do not take any toys home with you. They are the property of Pepper's Backyard. An inventory of all toys is taken before and after each Guest visit. Missing, damaged or lost toys will be charged to you at $10 per item, and you will be expected to pay for it before the end of your visit either by Cash, CashApp, or Zelle. Please supervise your dog(s) and do not allow them to dig holes in our yard. There is a kiddie pool filled with sand in the far right corner of the yard, and that is the only place your dog(s) are allowed to dig. Any holes dug or any damage done to our yard, pool, patio, or yard furniture will immediately be reported to Sniffspot, and you will be banned from returning to this spot. Do not urinate in the pool or in the yard. A guest bathroom is located inside our home that you are welcome to use. Please know that there are 5 working and monitored surveillance cameras that take video clips of everything you, your dog(s) and any guest you may bring with you are doing while you are on our property and by booking at Pepper's Backyard you all acknowledge and agree to being video recorded.

Hello I'm Marianne and I'll be your Hostess. My beloved deceased rescue dog Pepper was a mix of Chow, Siberian Husky, German Shepherd and Wolf. Despite his aggressive nature and his Vet's advice to have him put down, Pepper lived a good long life. I made sure of it. Pepper and I cohabitated for 18.1 years and he is my motivation to rent out his backyard. Pepper had a very aggressive nature towards people and all animals big and small. But overtime we grew to understand each other and somehow made it work. I hired a private trainer who specialized in behavioral training but unfortunately, he said Pepper was not able to be socialized due to his highly aggressive behavior. I was not able to take Pepper to Public Parks, Dog Parks, Doggy Daycare Centers, Veterinarians or Dog Groomers without him being muzzled and tethered to a very short leash. I know there are other dogs just like Pepper who are not able to be themselves and run free, until now. Welcome To Pepper's Backyard!
