Not to mention a never ending supply of fetch sticks from the Birch tree. We have some toys and tennis ball, but feel free to bring your pups favorite toy as well.

Come and enjoy our own private 3plus acres of wooded with some open space and trails. Fully fenced in and secure. So much space for your fur babies to run and explore. No need to stress with other dogs that may be reactive. Or maybe your pup doesn’t play well with others and prefers their own space. Our private dog park is for you. This space is amazing. It is not attached to our back yard and is a completely separate and private area. A great place for play dates with others, maybe even a picnic for the humans. Bring your snowshoes if you would like a bit of a workout yourself off trail in the deeper snow! PLEASE NOTE: Zero tolerance for smoking of ANYTHING while on our property. You may smoke in your own personal vehicle. But also, do NOT leave your dogs unattended. Please pick up after your dog. I am finding a crazy amount of poop left behind. Fill any holes you pup digs and return toy to bin. Also, in the winter months, please be aware that their is no lighting in the field. The designated Sniffspot parking area has ample lighting but none in the field. 9-23-24, hunting season is back, you may hear shotgun in the early am hours from hunters along the Mississippi River.

Perhaps your dog(s) would like to take a run thru the 15 ft nylon agility tube, the adjustable garden hose nozzle will provide you the option to relieve yourself(s) and dog(s) with a cold refreshing mist, including sanitized stainless steel water dish(es) at your disposal, For clean up, towels, hand sanitizer & plastic small poop bags are at your disposal with a trash can to get rid of anything undesirable. It would make me very happy to know your dog(s) are enjoying the converted side yard private dog park, as my beloved dogs did, especially my white standard poodle Buddy, who the dog park is named after. He loved to crouch down by the pine trees and the very tall 20-30 ft high arborvitaes that line the west wood fence, as he waited for me to throw a rubber ball to him, that he would eagerly return to me. A large, open 1.25 acre fenced in yard with multiple small hills that is bordered on the west side by a public walking trail (with 6 foot fence) and on the north side by Rice Creek (with 5 foot fence). Note that the creek is not directly accessible from the Sniffspot. During the winter months, deer and foxes pass just outside of the fenced in yard, while in warmer months the creek entices additional wildlife as well as the occasional canoeist or kayak. There's abundant street parking as we are located at a dead-end. Please do not park in the driveway. Enter the yard using the gate located to the left of the garage. Yard is flat and spacious with partial shade most of the day. Relax under umbrellas on the patio or by the fire pit while your pups play. Fresh water provided, and a waste station is in the SW corner. We don't use lawn chemicals during the summer, so your pup is always safe to roll in the clover or nibble on grass. Plenty of street parking (please do not park in the driveway) and a private entrance along the north side of the property. Please make sure gate is securely closed before leaving. Resident dog may bark briefly from indoors at you but will be out of direct sight. If your pup is reactive to sound, please let me know ahead of time & I will do my best to remove mine from the property while you visit.

Come enjoy our expansive, completely fenced-in backyard, which is almost an acre. The area is on the edge of a rural setting. Pat yourself on the back for finding such a large, private place for your dog(s) to run his/her little heart out and enjoy a Sniffapalooza. (If you’re interested, pet photography is available for an additional fee.) Enjoy expanses of wide open area as hayfields surround our property. There are many areas for the humans to sit and watch their dog(s) run around and have fun. There is a picnic table, benches, tables/chairs, and gliders. Have fun watching our critters whose pens are just on the outside of our backyard. We have horses, a miniature horse, a miniature donkey, alpacas, goats, sheep, ducks, and chickens (Petting zoo available for an extra fee. Dogs are not allowed in with the animals.) We have a fenced in garden area within the backyard. The garden is surrounded by rose bushes. In the middle is a courtyard with glider benches around a propane fire pit, a table/chairs, with a tiered water fountain in the middle. (Dogs not allowed within the garden area.) Enjoy the many types of birds that fly overhead on their way to Peltier Lake. There are also Sandhill cranes that show up periodically, as well as turkeys & geese. Treat your dog to a wide open area to sniff, play, and run to their heart’s content. Treat yourself to a pleasant setting that is like no other. We look forward to your visit!
