Enjoy miles of hiking trails, a scenic overlook, and ample room to run and play! This mountaintop nature preserve loves furry friends!
Let you and your pups be free!! Visit our 220 acres which 218 acres is reserved for a leash free day! Enjoy the natural nature setting in the Big Brush Creek Cove. Think of it as renting out a state park for the day! Enjoy the sound of water the moment you park. Walk along the driveway to view the creek and gorge on one side and turn to the right on the natural trails for a mountain nature trail hike / walk. Make sure the pups get to swim and splash in the clean creek. Take a break so you and your pup(s) can enjoy pure relaxation. Inquire about camping overnight if you love it too much to leave ($50.00 a night sent via Venmo upon scheduling - Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend is $75.00 a night & a minimum of one hour booked on the sniffspot app on departure day). We hope you and your pup(s) will love it as much as we and our pups do. Please note when you make a reservation it will be booked on central time zone. I’m happy to honor eastern time when possible.
We are currently building a house at the back of the property and construction equipment is in and out. Guests/dogs are able to roam the front part of the property. There is a fence separating the property from Maple Springs Road. We do have a 6 month old black lab and our neighbors have a couple dogs and multiple farm animals (sheep/horses) separated from our property by a fence. This is only available before planting and after harvest due to crops being planted.
Welcome to our SniffSpot! If you send me a note I'm happy to put out some lawn chairs and a big bowl of water before your arrival. There are plastic bags for poop hanging on the fence, which you can place in the trashcan in the driveway on your way out :) If there's anything else you might need please feel free to reach out. I'd love to meet our pup guests, so if your dog is friendly let me know, I'd love to say hi!
Welcome to Crossing Creeks Farm, where we are passionate about producing great food for our family's table and yours! Our love for dogs and hosting has lead us to build and open a private dog park right here on our farm. We encourage you to check out our website at www.crossingcreeks.com to learn more about what all we have to offer. Our dog park is just over 1/3 acre and fully fenced for safe off-leash fun! And we've partnered with Wondercide to also provide a safe area with natural treatment for fleas and ticks. Our park includes leash hooks, automatic dog waterer, agility equipment, waste bags, trash can, hand sanitizer, shaded seating area, dog dig pit, and gumball treat dispenser (be sure to bring a quarter or two!). And included with your spot, is the use of our self-serve dog wash. Wondercide has provided their amazing shampoos and flea & tick sprays for your pup(s) to go home feeling fresh and clean. Our on-site Farm Store offers a variety of goodies for both human and four-legged friends. And feel free to enjoy a walk on our walking trails through our woods and creeks. Please keep a leash on your pet(s) while not in the dog park. Shane and I and our two boys, Noah and Caleb live here on the farm, as well as my parents, Reid and Susan. Feel free to ask any of us any questions you may have while on the farm. And shoot us a message if you have any questions before coming out. Some of the other residents of the farm are our chickens, ducks, turkeys, cattle, pigs, and horses-all fully contained in their own fences. We offer horseback riding lessons here as well and host traveling guests through our on-site RV sites and campsite. If you'd like to enjoy a campfire during your visit, add a firewood bundle to your reservation and we'll have everything setup in the park upon your arrival-you just pack the s'mores! Our public restroom is just a short walk across the yard and driveway from the dog park. 10% of all profit will be donated to our local no-kill animal rescue here in Bedford County. We appreciate your support in helping us to give back! If you have more than one dog or are planning a doggy play date or puppy birthday party, enjoy 50% off the hourly rate after the first dog. No extra charges for humans!
Welcome to the mountain! The drive up is beautiful, there’s a little general store on the corner to grab some snacks and beverages before you get to the house. Ample parking available. The entire back is fenced over 5 acres fully fenced with pond and pool (dogs allowed, duh!) fenced in. Hose, kiddie pool both available. We do have 2 very dog savvy horses but they can be put up if your dogs aren’t horse friendly! Our dogs will stay inside to allow yours to roam- they are all kept on monthly prevention for flea/tick and deworming and we expect that of you as well! Fear not, most of the time a 15+ ER vet tech would be on site and we have a pretty well stocked emergency kit! We run a dog and cat rescue so these funds will help rescue animals immensely! Please ask any questions!
