Description

We bought this yard specifically for our reactive dog (Sollie). He absolutely loved it and really flourished here. He’s passed away now, so we want to share our yard with more doggies! Jump in the pool, do agility, dig some holes, and just generally create chaos. Agility equipment is the portable type, so it’s just jumps, hoops, and tunnel. We don’t have seesaw or table obstacles. Photos show it set up in the smallest section of the yard to leave the bigger areas for fetch, but you can easily move it around. There are 3 main sections to the yard, plus pool and patio. A couple photos include Sollie, who was about 90 pounds, so you can see the scale of the yard. We have lots of amenities included to make your visit stress-free, plus a few items for purchase as Extras. Hope to "see" you soon! (You won't see us at all. :) ) FENCING: The interior divider fence was destroyed when a tree fell in a storm. We're still dealing with insurance. Please don't worry about dirt in the pool; we'll turn the vacuum on when you leave. :) Those old fence panels are now being used to block off an Oleander bush while we remove it. Oleander is very common in Arizona, but it's toxic so we've chosen to remove it. Very small dogs may be able to fit through this interior fence. The main fence is still secure, and small dog approved! VACCINATIONS: Please double check that your doggie is up to date! 🐶💕 The parvovirus vaccine in particular is super important. The virus can survive in the soil for a year, which would not be fun!

Hazards

There may be uneven ground from previous digging. There’s also a rainwater ditch. We have a lot of plants and things where wildlife and insects could hide. Some plants can be toxic to dogs. Refer to ASCPA‘s list and supervise your dog at all times. THERE IS CURRENTLY OLEANDER IN THE YARD WHICH IS VERY TOXIC. WE ARE IN THE PROCESS OF REMOVING IT. IT'S BLOCKED OFF WITH WHITE IRON FENCE PANELS IN THE CENTER YARD ("PICNIC LAWN"). The Southwest has something called Valley Fever that people and pets can get. Ask a veterinarian for more information. Please do not open the shed or pool bin as there are chemicals and tools in there that are not safe for doggies. There are rat bait boxes just outside the shed; the bait is enclosed in the boxes, just make sure your dog doesn't disassemble them. :) There is a pool, which has both a deep and shallow end. Please be aware of whether your feet can touch the bottom (or not!). Human diving is not allowed in ANY part of the pool. Make sure your dog knows how to swim and exit the pool safely, and always supervise them! The pool deck can be SLIPPERY. In the winter, the pool water gets VERY cold. Please consider whether it is safe for you or your dog to swim. Consult your doctor and veterinarian. Be careful with high-temperature days; this may cause water from the hose and concrete to be hot! Test cautiously with your hand first. The main RV gate has cane bolts that MUST be in place! How-to is in the access instructions.
