55I love this spot. It has places that are quite steep so wear good shoes & take one of their walking sticks. It’s December so it was muddy but Jinx was not even close to filthy. He really enjoyed romping in the stream.
55Paths are in great shape! Dogs had a lovely romp and I had a lovely stroll.
55This place was great! Our dogs loved exploring the trails, fallen logs, and creek. This was perfect for our dog-reactive puppy to gain confidence in new places without worrying about running into anyone. Make sure to wear shoes that can do slippery hills!
55Great location! The dogs had such a great time romping in the woods
55Love this spot where my dog can feel safe and explore without stress of other dogs! And a beautiful relaxing wooded walk for the humans too.
45Beautiful property! The space is big but there’s not much trail to follow, or maybe I just couldn’t see it? I don’t have the most independent dog so he won’t explore unless I’m following so there were moments I was definitely just walking through bushes/sliding around on uneven terrain so we could make the most of the visit 😂 Highly recommend if your dog is independent and can zoom around without ya!
55This is a perfect secluded spot in the woods, my dog loved playing in the creek. Highly recommend
55I love this place! Pup owners, please clean up after your dogs!
55This was my first time trying SniffSpot, and honestly, I’m so impressed! The place we booked was absolutely perfect for me and my pups. Both of my dogs are reactive, so finding safe, stress-free spaces for them to run and play is usually a struggle. This property was such a blessing—it was private, peaceful, and gave my dogs the freedom they don’t usually get on regular hikes or outings. They had the best time, and I loved seeing them so happy and relaxed. Huge thanks to the hosts for sharing their space with us—it really meant so much, and we’ll definitely be back! :)
55This spot is nice and quite, off the main road. This area is down in a wooded ravine with a nice creek running through. Muddy, but expected for this time of year, and thoroughly enjoyed by the dogs. My youngest loved zooming around, up and off the sides of the ravine 😬🤣 - use caution if you have a crazy dog like I do. It would be quite easy to pick up an injury. My oldest enjoyed wandering through the brush and sniffing around while periodically trying to sneak off to the house - he likes to break into houses to hang out with the people. 🤦‍♀️

Description

This is a 2 acre wooded loop on Mt Scott. Our property bumps up against the Wahoo nature reserve is very private, shaded by large trees and well maintained. Our dog loves the woods and creek. We decided to open it to the community so other dogs and their families can enjoy it.

Cleanliness

100% of guests said this spot was as clean as expected during their visit.

Hazards

There are 2-3 steep steps in the beginning of the trail, good for people with sensitive knees or ankles to be aware of. We leave hiking sticks at the entrance leaning against a tree for our guests to use.
