35Not the fault of the host..but be sure to check your dog for ticks, after this walk she was covered in them. The trail was a bit difficult to fallow as some of the trails were not really marked. The forest was pretty and the dogs had a great time.
45The trail was absolutely beautiful, it felt like we were walking on the Bruce Trail. It was very muddy, so definitely wear your hiking boots! However we didn't care, Hank loved running through the mud. There is yellow flagging tape that you follow on the trail. We did get a bit lost, as the trail ended suddenly with a "private property" sign. We had to turn around to get back to the start. I'm unsure if this trail has a loop or not, but we'll be back to explore some more!
55Always a fantastic fun filled hour for Malcolm at Craig’s sniffpot. He comes home and sleeps for hours after all that running, swimming and sniffing 😴
55This was our third visit to Craig’s place. There are so many trails, every visit is a fun new experience. My dog comes home tired out. It’s a great place for your dog to wander and sniff!
55We had an amazing time at Craigs property. Beautiful well groomed and marked trails through an amazing forest. We will definitely be coming back!
55We had a great first visit to Craig’s Dog Park. The trails are amazing and Lucy was able to run and sniff all she wanted. It’s a beautiful spot and we will definitely be back. Craig came out to meet us when we arrived and directed us to the start of the trail.
55Beautiful trails. We always enjoy our time here. Thank you Craig 😊
55We had a beautiful hike for my dog’s fourth birthday! Thanks again, Craig!
55We had a great time walking Jessie through the trails. Beautiful forest. We will be back. Thanks Craig
55We had a wonderful time at Craig's sniff spot, and loved seeing his adorable Golden Retrievers! Thanks again!

IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD Hello and thanks for visiting our page. We are Paula and John. We own 95 acres of mostly forested land. About 65 acres is walkable and we have trails throughout. We are learning as we go, and hope to provide you and your dogs a fun day. If you have any question feel free to ask. And remember, we love dogs just as much as you do. There are a few important points we'd like you to consider. We like to meet our new guests for the first time. This gives us a chance to get to know you better and also put friendly faces to us, the hosts. We want you to feel welcome and know that we care about your dogs. We have several trails that split out to other trails. There will be signs to help you navigate through them, and some suggestions that will help you keep track of remaining time. In the colder months, running water will not be provided. We will also reserve the right to cancel the appointment if we get heavy snow squalls. Our plan is to keep the trails plowed, but in the event of a snow storm, it may take us a few days to get the trails plowed. In general, we will not be open past dusk, unless you specifically ask us and are aware of the risks of walking in the dark. I always walk my dogs on winter nights. Just carry some sort of flashlight. We currently have an electric gate that can only be opened by us at the gate, and not remotely. When a guest arrives, we will be there to open the gate for you, close it once you're in, and open it again upon your departure. Lastly a note about safety. Safety is important to us, but please note that you are entering nature. Our spot is home to many small animals, including porcupines. If your dogs are into porcupines, I would stay cautious of your pets entering the dense bush and recommend they stick to the trails instead. The probability of spotting a porcupine though is very low. Other animals will simply not bother human visitors and their dog companions. You may spot a deer or two if you're lucky that day. Deer are mostly friendly, but I would suggest keeping your distance if you spot a buck. However, they typically flee when they spot you. In all my years spotting buck, I've never seen one charge at anyone. Still, be safe. Although very rare, you many spot a coyote. Once again, they generally don't bother humans. If you spot one, keep your dogs close. Coyotes don't like confrontations with humans, so your dogs will be safe if by your side.
