Excited to finally have a yard for our dog and want to share it with others! You may see people walking their dogs on the sidewalk, but no distractions once in the yard.

Enjoy a spacious grassy farm like atmosphere with plenty of space to run. You can throw your dog’s favorite ball or frisbee while standing or sitting on the bench under the big shaded tree! There is a view of chickens and maybe the sound of a rooster once in a while 😉 for you to enjoy.

If your looking for a 1/2 acre where your dog can run freely and safely, please come visit. We have dog toys, water bowls and a doggy pool can be used for hot summer days.

Our large backyard is ready to be sniffed! Our yard is fully-fenced in and safe for your dog to have some outdoor zoomies. Plenty of seating for humans. And a playground for kids (or dogs!) to play on. We work from home a few days a week, so someone might be here during your visit. We’ll say hi from the window but will otherwise give you privacy.

1/4 acre of fenced in backyard. Now lit at night for the soon to be early nights. Includes a lovely seating area for humans and plenty of space for dogs to play. There are outdoor lights and a fan controlled by Alexa under the gazebo. Simply ask Alexa to “turn on patio lights” or “turn on patio fan” or “turn on backyard lights”. Please also ask her to turn them off when you leave. If Alexa is not working for any reason there is a manual white button on the upper left hand post (left of fireplace) that will turn both lights and fan on. You can also ask Alexa to play music or you can also request a local radio station. On really hot days, I will setup the sprinkler for your dog if they enjoy it. There is a faucet near the table, let it run for a few seconds into the bucket to get colder and give your pup a drink. WiFi password: I Love My Dog

If your looking for a place your dog can run freely and safely, this is the spot for you. We have dog toys, water bowls, a hose, and a doggy pool (weather permitting) that can be enjoyed on hot summer days. For our human friends, comfy chairs, a fire pit (upon request), and a large umbrella are available for your enjoyment. Private entrance in/out of yard. Of note: there are two pest control boxes around the perimeter of our yard. They are completely pet safe, as we have two dogs of our own. Please reach out if you have any concerns!

After years of planting trees and native pollinators, this little North Philly oasis is ready for you and your pets. What was once a vacant lot, is now a cozy green space with trees and small brush, woodchipped pathways and native flowers and plants. Fully enclosed lot with a seating area/table, a raspberry patch, wild grasses and a garden. Bordered by a 3 story warehouse, a 10’ brick wall on 2 sides and 6’-8’ chainlink fence on the other 2 sides. Come take it easy and relax with your pup(s) and friends. See you soon!

PLEASE NOTE: our sniffspot will be closed starting 1/29 through the end of February. We are bringing home a puppy of our own and want to ensure safety for all as we navigate potty training! We will reopen in March. Sitting on 0.25 Acres, with plenty of room to run and play fetch, this yard is a perfect private dog park for your furry friends. There is plenty of seating for humans and plenty of space for pups. Some small children’s toys in addition to a pergola with shade in the summer and string lights all year round. Welcome to our backyard! It's about 6,500 square feet, with a beautiful, six-foot red cedar fence all the way around, with no gaps for even the smallest dogs (except maybe a teacup dog!). There are two major seating spots with chairs and plenty of empty space for your dogs to run around. It's also well shaded, with a gigantic, hundreds-years-old tree right smack in the middle. If you have a good visit, please leave a good review! We are first-time homeowners and Sniffspotters. Please get in touch with any questions or suggestions for improvements! PLEASE DO *NOT* BRING A DOG THAT: - has a particularly loud or booming bark. We live in a quiet neighborhood and do not want to disturb our neighbors. - may chew through outdoor-rated extension cords (there's one for the mosquito trap, as you can see next to the pool). - may chew through (or climb through!) the plastic tubing between the pool and its mechanics (pump and filter). Important notes: - No more than four dogs may be in our yard at any one time, and all dogs must share the same owner. The owner must remain with their dogs at all times. The owner may bring a small number or human guests, but no guest may bring their own dog. - Please look carefully through our photos to know what to expect. Any questions, ask! - It is expected that our yard will be in the same or better condition than when you entered. Please clean up your and your dog's messes. - If you can prevent your dog from peeing next to the pool and its mechanics, please do. We realize this might not be possible, so don't stress if it happens. - There's a three-foot-wide alleyway behind the shed (fence on one side, shed on the other), open on both sides. It's just dried leaves back there. (Note: the bricks in the pictures will be gone before your dog arrives.) For the moment, we're leaving this open, but may block it off depending on feedback from our Sniffspot guests. - The pool is off limits to dogs. Note the pool-wall is five feet high. There will be no ladder when your dog visits. It is IMPERATIVE that you not put a chair next to the pool, to prevent your dog from jumping in. - We have one neighbor (on the driveway side) with a dog. He's not out that much, he's never out without his owner, and he's not loud (I've NEVER heard him since moving here two years ago). It is very likely that this dog will not be out during your visit, but we can't guarantee this. Regardless, there is always a solid six-foot-high fence between. Our neighbors are well aware, and are fully supportive, of our renting via Sniffspot. Concerns we are currently working to address: - We plan on building a small fence around the pool mechanics. - Note that we mow this very big backyard every two weeks. Also, there's ALWAYS more weeding to be done. However, there are no harmful-to-dogs plants that we are aware of.
