Mutts and Wiggle Butts is perfect for the pet who needs a break to run and play or for someone who needs safety for dogs and children to play. Feel free to let your pet run through the fenced yard and explore. The yard is mowed weekly and may have some bare spots and occasionally dog poop. We are not UPSCALE. We are all about safe free time for you and your pet. Small dogs such as Havanese, terriers, and Bichons love our spot, as well as Labrador & golden retrievers, poodles, doodles, Portuguese water dogs, beagles, shepherds, pit bulls and mixed breeds. We love Mutts. Big or little, there is something for everyone. We are around a mile off Hwy 85 and Business 85. A bench, covered porch, seating, and cold bottles of water are always included. There is a fire pit and avaliable fire wood under the tarp around the tree inside the pickets ready for roasting smores. There is a mini fridge on the back porch with water bottles for you and your fur friends. Plenty of parking please park where the owners can still access both carports.

We have a reactive dog, so we understand how important, and how challenging it can be to provide a stress-free, enriching environment for a sensitive dog! We have a fully fenced half acre with an adjacent 500 sq. ft. enclosed dog run, and we’re happy to share it along with toys, water bowls, and more to enrich your dog’s experience! We will be adding more amenities as we are able.

Captain's Retreat at Bear Creek located off Highway 64 in Mocksville! 4.5 acres of fully fenced (woven mesh wire and post/rail 5.5ft to 6ft high) with trails, woods, field, and plenty of room to run and explore! Open the front gate and drive into the secure parking area. ***CLOSE AND LATCH THE GATE BEHIND YOU BEFORE GETTING YOUR DOGS OUT OF THE CAR!*** Walk through gate into the space from the secure parking area. This area has wooded trails as well as cleared areas. Densely wooded areas and thickets all around. TICK PREVENTION IS A MUST! There are no pesticides or herbicides used here. Only natural horticulture vingear for spot weed control. This area is located beside Bear Creek and when the creek is high or after a good rain IT WILL BE MUDDY on the right side of the property! Dry creekbed located across the back of the property. **The Creek is NOT accessible from the fenced property** -Water hose on site for use. Dog shower/bath area to the right of the shed with dog wash hose attached, shampoo, and wash shammy. Or you may bring your own bath supplies! Feel free to give your dog a shower/bath! ***Just added dog pool*** For use at no extra charge! Fill up/use if you'd like! (It's been stored for the fall/winter...but if you would like to use it...please let me know at time of booking) -Dog water bowl, dog brush, toys, treats, human and dog tick spray provided. This is not just our yard; it is our field to the side of our house and a little more than half an acre is fenced. Another 5 1/2 acres offers privacy and serenity. Feel free to let your pet run through the fenced field and dig in the garden. We don’t mind! There is plenty of interesting areas for your pet to explore and run and a lot for them to sniff and explore. The field is mowed weekly and may have some bare spots, mud and occasionally dog poop. Quite simply it means that you make an appointment through the app. Only you, your friends and the dogs you bring are in the totally fenced Playground during that time. You can book 30 min to 2 hours at a time. Can you have a birthday party with children and your dog? YES! We will help decorate. Can we have more than one car? Yes. Just please let us know if there will be additional cars. Can we take pictures? YES, PLEASE DO. Is there an entrance fee for people? No, only dogs. Can we bring lunch? Yes, we have a picnic table. Will your dogs be in the yard? No, just yours. Do you have a place for the adults to sit? Yes. We have two cushioned benches, a wonderful glider a hammock and three chairs to move around.
