Description

Beautiful quiet yard in Del Ray Alexandria with patio seating. Water available from spigot on the left side upon entering the yard. Plentiful on street parking is available.

Hazards

We have a beehive in the yard. The bees hardly fly at all when it’s under 50° outside. Otherwise, the honeybees usually mind their own business and don’t bother us even when we stand right front of the hive, but it’s prudent to give them a little distance. This yard may not be suitable for dogs - or humans - that have severe allergic reactions to bee stings. On the left side of the yard towards the back there is an in-ground egress window. There is a circular space in the middle of the yard where a pool used to be: it’s a bit lower than the land around it and so there is a slight dropoff at the circle’s edge. Update 1/6/24; We’ve been on a long hiatus but opened up the calendar just for a few days in case any pups would like to enjoy the abundant snow. If you’ve come here before, you may remember an above ground pool, but we removed it last year. Will post updated pictures and an updated description when we reopen.

Fur-Get Me Not is a leading daycare, boarding, and training facility in the area. We welcome the dog community to exercise and provide mental stimulation utilizing our facility when the dog training school is not actively in use.
