Beautiful quiet yard in Del Ray Alexandria with patio seating. Water available from spigot on the left side upon entering the yard. Plentiful on street parking is available.

HOST NOTE

We have a beehive in the yard. The bees hardly fly at all when it’s under 50° outside. Otherwise, the honeybees usually mind their own business and don’t bother us even when we stand right front of the hive, but it’s prudent to give them a little distance. This yard may not be suitable for dogs - or humans - that have severe allergic reactions to bee stings. On the left side of the yard towards the back there is an in-ground egress window. There is a circular space in the middle of the yard where a pool used to be: it’s a bit lower than the land around it and so there is a slight dropoff at the circle’s edge. Update 1/6/24; We’ve been on a long hiatus but opened up the calendar just for a few days in case any pups would like to enjoy the abundant snow. If you’ve come here before, you may remember an above ground pool, but we removed it last year. Will post updated pictures and an updated description when we reopen.

But also there is free street parking. Please enter through the GATE RIGHT OF THE HOUSE - please see pictures for location. 1b- Please keep dog’s leashes on upon entering and exiting the spot. 2- There are garden chairs and a bench, please feel free to use them. 3- There is a box filled with fun dog toys and a couple of dog treats for you all to enjoy. 4- There is a water hose and a bowl, please feel free to use them. 5- We would be appreciate if you left the backyard as you found it. A great backyard will a little over .25 acres. Dogs love that there is enough room for fetch, zoomies, and sniffing all the different spots throughout. It is completely fenced in and has a patio for you to sit on while your doggo explores. Please bring your own water and water bowl for your pups as we do not provide water. There is a hose you may use. The spigot is in the back left corner of the patio (if you're looking at the house).
