55Great open space perfect for running! The neighbor dogs came to the fence to check out my dog which was great for her.
55Lots of shade and secure fencing. There's a big plastic tub of stale water that my dogs wanted to play in and drink from, but I kept them out of it just in case.
55Great space to bring your pups! The fence is secure, sunny and shaded area. The neighbor dogs do come out to say which could be tricky with dog reactive pups. Otherwise it’s a great space!
55The yard was perfect for big zoomies all around! Mack sniffed everywhere and then finally let loose! It was great!
55This was our second visit, and we did see the next door neighbor’s 2 dogs playing outside. They bark a lot and spent most of the time watching us right against the 4?ft wire fence. All was well but future visitors should be aware.
55fenced in yard in town. There are some Adirondack chairs. Shade from trees in back corner of yard. There might be dogs outside at neighbor’s (shared secure chain link fence)
55Unfortunately I was late so I wasn't able to give our dog the time I would have liked. This spot is perfect for what we need. Its close by and enough space with sun and shade areas to allow our boy some time for zoomies and time to stretch out in the shade on the hot day. I forgot to take pictures but will next time we go.
55Great backyard to play in! The fence is high facing the street and then lower around the other sides. We heard a few dogs barking but didn’t see any, though if the neighbors were out then I definitely would have had issues (dog reactive, and that’s where the low fences are). We’ll be back!
55This is a very nice space. More than large enough for ball fetching and kickball with my dog. And sections of the yard allow for some exploration of interesting spots. Much of it is a grassy lawn, which my dog loves to lie in and roll around.
55Well kept yard with shade trees and good fencing.

PLEASE BE CAREFUL OF BEARS! I have had a bear in the back yard a few times recently. They jump fences! If you need a better idea of where it is, it's within walking distance of the East Asheville Farmer's Market, Library, Fire Department, and Wells Fargo. I'm also close to Bull Mountain Rd. A few Announcements: While I make every effort to ensure that my roommate and other guests have cleaned up after their dogs, I have occasionally been informed that they have not. So I must now update the description accordingly. I welcome you to partake of my beautiful backyard in a peaceful neighborhood- as long as you are aware it is possible there is occasional dog poo. Also be advised that if you are extremely sensitive to poison ivy, be aware there may be some in some parts of the yard. If your dog is a curious sort, be aware that there is some yard equipment being stored under the deck and this area is open and not blocked off. I cannot anticipate every guest's need, but I am happy to offer my yard for a small fee to those who understand what is being offered. Thank you! Also, if you should happen to encounter my neighbor in the back left of the yard, please be advised he is unfortunately a little senile and has been known to be a nuissance to several of his neighbors. I don't want to scare you off, as we love our yard and will continue using our yard in the ways we see fit. If his (small) dogs come out while you are there, please be careful with your dogs, and please take anything he says with a grain of salt-, he unfortunately sometimes behaves like your classic grumpy old man. We apologize in advance for anything he says and are working on a solution. It may take some time for that to be implemented. Recommendations: 1) Please clean up after your dog. 2) If you book an evening time, be prepared with a flashlight, or know when the sun sets. I have outside lights, but I can't guarantee they will always be on, and they don't illuminate the whole yard. The space: A wide open space with rolling hills for your dogs to play, while you enjoy the view. *The sprinkler is actually a garden hose that is a "soaker" hose. It sprays water out of it like a sprinkler. There are plenty of sticks you can throw for the dog to fetch. (The location is 5 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, 5 minutes to Downtown Asheville, and close to the Folk Art Center. The newly renovated Haw Creek library and playground, Creekside Tavern, and High Five Coffee are just down the street. You can also walk to the Haw Creek Farmer's Market from here on Fridays, 3-6 pm. You can walk straight from to the Mountain to Sea trail from here without having to drive, and hike to Lunchbox rock (seen in pictures here.) I included the porch pictures so you could see the sunset. :) ) There is hand sanitizer, sunblock and bug spray under the stairs, under the side of the bottom step that you are welcome to use.i

11/23- We are back open! The field is ready and the trail to the beach has been cleared. I have been working hard to get this site running again for everyone to enjoy. Please realise the businesses around this park are still cleaning up. There is a security guard patrolling the area and keeping an eye on the buildings and my park. They are nice people and have my number if needed. Please enjoy the park again but be gentle in the area. 11/19- The site has been mowed and my dogs have spent several hours there at different times without illness or issue. We are hoping to open by the end of this coming weekend. 11/13 the fencing has been repaired, the gazebo is back in place and my dogs have been out there visiting without issue. We will be cutting the trail to the beach in the next two weeks then we will be ready to open. 9/28- heavy damage due to flooding. Closed until I can rebuild. Sites 1, 2, and 4 are open for your pups and your continued patronage would be a great help to me and this site. Access is possible to those sites. Thank you for your understanding. Have you ever wanted to run your dog on three football sized flat fields? This is your chance. Located behind UPM Raflatac in the cane creek industrial park this huge spot is the third one we have built. It’s been designed for complete privacy for you and your pets. No drive by traffic no people walking by, just you and your kids on 4 flat acres. It’s perfect for all ages of dogs and their humans because of the terrain! If you are up for an adventure, we have cut in a small trail to access Cane Creek. It is part of the same property but is NOT fenced in any way. If your pup enjoy off or on leash hikes, then feel free. The trail is outside the fenceing look for the silver gate across from the Gazbo. It is an out and back path with two small hills about a 3-5min walk in the woods. This area is not fenced. A picnic table, gazebo with swing, hammock and umbrella, are located here for lots of seating and shelter. Some toys are provided and even a game of horse shoes for humans! I think a Remote Control car or a drone, a mountain bike might be really fun to bring or even a Remote Control plane. This spot is actually part of the old Fletcher airport. All I want in life is to help people to have balanced dogs in their lives! Enjoy!
