55Such a beautiful Sniffspot! My boys (2 golden doodles) absolutely loved the beach and getting to run around freely. You have amazing views pretty much everywhere on the property. Definitely recommend giving this spot a visit!

45The beach is fantastic. I wish the stairs down the bluff were a little safer. Definitely be sure footed with good endurance. I slipped and almost fell a few times going down.

Description

5 minute mulched bluff trail down to private beach access. You might not see another soul while you walk a mile in each direction on beautiful Lake Michigan sandy beach. One of a kind destination for humans and dogs alike!

Hazards

Lake Michigan beach hazards when weather is rough. Bluff walk is a switchback trail with moderate difficulty (5 min from bluff to beach) for those not in shape.

Check with homeowner first to coordinate with AirBnB schedule. Non-summer availability only (Sept-May). Bluff walk is moderate difficulty but a private sandy beach walk awaits. Some steps are narrow and sloped on the trail because bluff constantly shifts with weather. These are maintained annually but can move in the interim.
