Description

Country Run's Private Ranch is 58 acres located just shy of one mile off of Highway 285 off of Pleasant Park Road. An amazing location - a hidden gem. As you walk from the parking area along the path, the property opens up into a beautiful aspen forest with wooden benches and a large meadow. Half way down the meadow on the left (west) side is a small riparian area with Alder trees - the beginning of several spring fed creeks. The hillside on the east side of the property offers rock outcroppings, large rock benches and 360 views. Our dogs thoroughly enjoy their time here and we hope your dog does, too! Depending on the time of year, the spring fed area can be muddy, an old towel is recommended for the drive home. This property is perfect for dog walks, picnics and celebrations. This spot has a water feature, spring fed creek and small pond at the bottom of the meadow. Area may be muddy. Some wildlife (black bears, deer, elk, and moose) may occasionally be around. Wooded areas - blown down trees. Firewood processing area near the road as shown on the map in an effort to thin the forest for a healthier forest. During the winter months during periods of high snow, the parking area will be plowed and while your pup may have fun in the snow in the meadow, you may prefer snowshoes.

We are locals to the Conifer area and run a small farming operation. We’d love to share our grazing lands with you. It’s a beautiful 58 acre property protected by a conservation easement. All of our dogs love hiking through our woods, we hope yours do, as well! The property includes water - a small spring fed drainage and pond, aspen forests, conifer forests, a large meadow, and an enormous hillside full of rock outcroppings and areas to explore.
