My dogs will be kept in the house when visitors are present but they may bark. They will be at the opposite end of house. The louder you are the more likely they are to bark. If you pet is just running around enjoying the space they should be quiet. We will also try to have the radio on for visits that occur when we are not home to mask noise.

You must use the gate on the right side of the house. Make sure to secure inner slide bolt on lower right side of gate after entering to prevent someone coming in. Also please secure outer latch when leaving so gate is secure at all times.

While your pup enjoys the yard you may enjoy a reptile interaction. I have tortoises and lizards that may be touched as well as a few other critters for viewing only. Learn about these cool critters and take some pictures. Interactive event is about 15-20 min. Depending on interest. This can only be booked at certain times when I am home.
-Please do not pick fruit unless there is a note saying it’s ok -Feel free to fill the kiddie pool for your pup to cool off/play but do not leave water on or flood an area of the lawn -Please make sure gate is secure when leaving

I have 37 years in the pet industry and my daughter and I currently work with 2 rescue groups (fostering, adoption coordinator and event assistance). Being in rescue we understand that many dogs need to be the only pet and that unfortunately eliminates dog parks. We are fortunate enough to have a good size side yard that our Pittie and mastiff love! We look forward to sharing our space🐶

A fully enclosed beautiful large backyard with lots of space and squirrels to chase around and it's private very quiet a huge avocado tree you may help yourself they are the best in the city it's pure bliss

There are toys and treats for your dog(s), and chairs for the humans. Please refill using hose or water provided as necessary. Thank you!!!** We have a 100 foot hose with different sprinkler attachments that you may use as your dog(s) please. Welcome to 🐾 Ward Bungalow - fully fenced backyard, a private pup park that allows for running and stretching of legs of all sizes! • Grass space for pups alongside outdoor couch seating, lounge chairs, and table seating for people. Evening lighting for playtime at dusk. Available and stocked for pups: plenty of balls and toys - if you’ve forgotten your favorites, water bowls, and water station Other essentials: sanitizing wipes, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, flashlight, umbrella, paper towels, disposal bags, and trash can • We are noticing a few divots in the grass and more prominent yellow spots in the grass coloring, a bit more mud-like areas as we get more visitors - wear and tear on the lawn … please know we take pride in maintaining the space and keeping it clean for everyone! • Mondays early morning & evening and Tuesday through Sunday: front gate entrance Mondays 11:30am-4:30pm: back gate entrance (front neighborhood street sweeping)

Our pools, large and small can be booked as extras at the time of your reservation. Children’s toys happily provided upon request. Homemade human and doggie treats are available most of the time. 🙂 🐾🐾 We do have nighttime lighting and will open a late evening reservation for you upon request. Outward Hound Level One available as an experience during your stay and can be booked as an extra. Doggie Painting (let your pup’s inner Picasso come out!) is also available and can be booked as an extra. Birthday props available to borrow and listed under “extras”.
