Welcome! We are working hard to make our peaceful, quiet 12 acres into a beautiful park. You are welcome at any time, day or night, to walk, run, bike, ski or snowshoe with your dogs. We no longer have any pets-- no more dogs, horses, chickens, or other livestock. We are often visited by deer and groundhogs. Although we have 12 acres, the house and barn are in the middle of it, so you may see the house from many areas during your visit. Usually, we are working inside or we are away and we keep most of the curtains closed. We may use the driveway or receive a delivery. Future plans include clearing the West trails, planting more evergreens, and making an indoor play space in the barn. Our park will continue to improve -- it is a work in progress! We took lots of pictures and will continue to add them. We want you to know as much as possible about the site before you come here for your visit. We welcome your suggestions on how to improve.

Roughly 1/4 acre privacy fenced backyard in convenient location in Commerce Township. We are right off M5 & Pontiac Trail. We provide a small variety of dog balls and toys, a water bowl, waste bags, Lysol wipes, chairs and trash bin. The yard is well maintained. The property is mostly wooded with some open field areas. There’s a trail system that is manicured and maintained as best as possible, but it’s not perfect, yet! The pond is a duck pond, my dogs will go in around the edges but rarely swim. I personally don’t like it but dogs will be dogs. There are domestic ducks who can out swim the dogs but please ensure they’re not chased on land. There are trash cans randomly and picnic tables scattered throughout- More will continue to be added. WiFi is currently being connected and should available throughout the property and trails. Pathway lights will be added. The trails can lead you to the highway border- It is fenced, there’s two spots along the trails to lower the fence and cross over and access the rest stop bathroom, vending machines, etc.

Welcome! We are excited to share our yard with you and your dog! This is a 0.25 acre rectangle of flat land with lush cut grass. Bring your dog(s) to run, play or train. We provide dog water, a few toys, shelter and shade. There are cable spools, weave poles, a tunnel and a jump for your dog to use for confidence building and exercise! ❄️ During the winter months, please plan to bring water for your dog. There will be a bowl available for use, but any water left out will just freeze 🥶 FYI: we do live in a rural area, during hunting season you may hear gun shots in the distance. 🔥 propane heater now available for use in the fall and winter (out during milder weather as the tank freezes in severely cold weather). Please just turn it off when not in use to conserve propane.

Enjoy a beautiful walk on a network of trails that traverse rolling hills in and out of the forest. At the back of the property, you will enjoy some of the best and most private scenery in Oakland County. As summer turns to fall there are a lot fewer bugs and beautiful color changes. Some trees are changing already. Please stay on the cleared paths on the West side and South portion of the property due to work being done on other sections. There are wooden arrow signs that help you navigate to the back of the property and back to the parking area. Thank you. (We are currently expanding and connecting the trails, as well as clearing the views to the lake and river, so watch for some nice additions in the future.)
