Description

Equine facility with some extra room for dog activity’s . Times Must be by appointment during 8am to 3:30 pm . Dogs must be fully vaccinated on heart worm negative and heart worm preventive . Property is not fully fenced. Dogs must have good recall. As horses are pastured adjacent to run area . An indoor arena for a rainy day or winter running is available by appointment. A large indoor Wash rack with drain with hot water is available at additional charge to wash larger dogs . $10.00 bring your own shampoo and towels . Large privite lake available for swimming dog bring your own dog life jacket to use lake . Not liable for any dog or human injuries when utilizing property for dog activities. Please refrain from allowing visiting dogs from going to house kennels or barn stables or pastures as not to disrupt those resident animals.

Please do not allow dogs to enter those areas or interact with resident animals/Dogs during visit. There will be areas on farm with mud and other by products of large animals on sight so dog may get dirty on visits . Please communicate what areas you would like to use while visiting such as indoor arena , lake , green lawn space so we can better help you access those areas during visit.

The Nature Nook Dog Retreat - Shelby Township

Almost a half an acre completely fenced-in yard (to the ground so even 5-lb dogs can’t escape) in a quiet neighborhood near 23 and Mound. Grass is kept short and natural. Never any poisonous pesticides or fertilizer used. All Natural! Seating and doggie pool available (request pool is emptied before leaving and not filled more than half or you can’t tip over to empty). No dogs in surrounding yards. Great for big and small dogs! Lots of trees and shrubbery to give you a private oasis. Please close the gate when leaving. Note: I bought my house with a large after one of my dogs was attacked at a dog park causing 2 surgeries and very expensive vet bills. Enjoy my yard with piece of mind.

	Only one booking is allowed at a time at any spot and there is an enforced 30 min buffer between all bookings to ensure dogs in separate bookings do not meet.
	This spot is set for Booking, which means you will be instantly confirmed for any booking you request. You will receive the address and access instruction immediately following booking.
	Visits can be moved or cancelled up to 2 hours before a visit.
	Visits can be extended and dogs can be added throughout the visit.
