15avoid booking this place at all costs!!!!! Despite the bad reviews, I decided to book it because there were no other options available due to the good weather. After searching for half an hour, I arrived at a gated house located on a dead-end gravel road with no room to maneuver. A truck pulled up behind me, and upon speaking to the driver, I realized that it was his property and he had no idea about Sniffspot. He uses this property as an Airbnb which is why he happened to be there at the same time as me.
35The property was nice. Like other reviewers, I found it to be a little too close to streets and neighbors. We played fetch in the woods. I think I found the trails, but they are a bit overgrown in the summer time. At other spots I pay a bit less and find well maintained trails or nice clearings so I will stick to those.
25I can't give the location a review because we never found it. We entered the address in Google Maps and it took us to the wrong place, and then we entered it into Apple Maps and it took us to the address listed. We got out of the car and began wandering around, only to have folks living in the house come out and ask what we were doing; though they share the listed address and are in the listed neighborhood, they are not the Sniffspot. We spent half an hour driving around and eventually left. We paid $70 for a visit we did not get to enjoy. Wish there were a refund policy, and encourage the owner to include specific directions to their property (in addition to the address and development).
25Property was meh - not worth $35/hr or a 40 min drive. As others have said you can see lots of neighbors, the owner’s home & porch is also visible from almost entire property & there is zero indication of where property boundaries are. NOT a good spot for reactive dogs. No trash can. Host did not communicate any information about navigation to the property, property boundaries, or where to park either in the confirmation e-mail or with signage on property. I lost 20 min of my time due to getting lost - DO NOT USE GOOGLE MAPS, IT WILL TAKE YOU TO THE WRONG NEIGHBORHOOD. This was hands-down the most disappointing SniffSpot we’ve been to.
55Great well maintained trails to hike around! I agree with the comment below that I wasn’t quite sure where the land ended but we just assumed it was their land where the trails kept going! I used google maps and it took me around another way that we couldn’t enter but Apple Maps got us there! The dogs had so much fun romping around and even after all the rain it wasn’t muddy! We did 1.5 hours and thought it was perfect. Kind of expensive but for every once and a while, fun for the dogs!
45The land is beautiful. I dont know that I would necessarily return as I was confused about where the host property ended and the neighbors property started. I have a new rescue who has extreme reactivity to other dogs (we’re working on it) and I was definitely concerned that we were going to stumble upon neighbor dogs. We made our way up the hill and on a primitive access road and it was fun! But I could see other houses and felt as though I was on shared property. I could not find the other trails by the house that another reviewer mentioned and I certainly didnt see a creek but it was also a hot summer day after a string of hot summer days. I would love a map of the property lines if I were to return. Having said that, we didn’t see any other dogs and only heard one barking towards the end of our visit. If you’re dog is a little more socialized than mine I’d say this is a wonderful property to explore!
55This is a beautiful property with lots of well-maintained trails to explore. The dogs enjoyed running around and jumping into a small creek.
55When you get there, there is a gate in front of a hill, which is where you can bring your dogs! There are some little trails down to the left (next to the house) and the little forest was soooo lovely. The dogs loved it and there was so much room to play. There were no other dogs around or anything, so I didn’t have to worry at all. There is a little river that the dogs just adored (the river would probably be dry in summer). I stayed for an hour and felt it was good amount of time to play with the dogs and sit down for a while. It would be nice to bring a picnic as well. There was no traffic. It overall just felt really safe and I hope to return with my dogs soon.
35Beautiful property! Just wasn’t a good fit for my dog and I, directions to trails and boundaries of the property line were unclear, and we ran into other people and dogs when we were not expected to based on the info. For the price, I was hoping for a better experience.
