Fenced Backyard

We may not have clover 100% of the year but we are turning our yard into a local plant and wildlife sanctuary and cutting back on just grass. We currently still have a large grassy area in both shade and sun but plan to have more and more diverse plants as time goes on. As extras we have a hose with a sprinkler attachment, a dog sized pool and homemade dog treats. For everyone we have sticks and balls for you to use or bring your own. We have a large double lot on the side of the house for your dog to have plenty of space to run and play. Our cancellation policy: if you get here and the weather is not perfect but it’s what was forecast, we do not refund your money. If there is a sudden storm or unpredicted downpour please cancel if you can before arriving. if it should start while you are here and you have to leave we will give you a refund if you did not get the major part of your visit. 

Poochie Garden is a sensory experience with plenty of shade and room to zoom! Cooler weather features a 6-foot stock-tank ball pit and hot drinks for humans - **included** with all reservations. Turf includes short grass, large beds of taller ornamental grass as natural snuffle spots, bare dirt, and pine mulch, plus a sand Digging Garden along with varied natural rock, cobblestone, and wooden deck walking surfaces - all securely contained within a 6-foot wooden privacy fence. Treat-tipping bottles, an Agility Walk, a Stump Walk, a curated selection of toys, and plenty of other sensory experiences add to your pup's best day. Bring kibble or treats to challenge your hound to the mental stimulation of a puzzle or two. Pup-safe plantings of spearmint, strawberry, catnip, wheat grass, oregano, beautyberry, and more offer your pooch plenty to explore, sniff, and nibble. Humans can rest in the chairs, bench, and hammock on the deck or in the garden and enjoy the sounds of a waterfall, wind chimes, and birds while your pooch plays. Seasonal and static picturesque photo ops are plentiful! Include a human friend or two and their dogs in your reservation if you'd like to share the garden experience! Bring coffee or takeout from a local restaurant! The garden is fully lit, so you can even enjoy it after dusk. We offer a PAWty package to celebrate special occasions and a DIY Garden Bath as add-ons to complete your booking. Look in the Extras section for details. Poochie Garden is a certified Wildlife Habitat, so you may encounter birds, rabbits, toads, butterflies, spiders, bees, and other friends while you visit. Please enjoy their presence and do no harm. We accept bookings up to 2 weeks in advance. Message if you have a special date to reserve with more notice, and we will try to accommodate. Beautiful front yard with plenty of space to run!

We love the safety of having a fully fenced in yard we wanted to share it with those who don’t have access to one of their own. My partner and I know what it’s like to not have the previous gift that is a fenced in yard for our fur babies to run around freely in. We are New to this so upon booking if you have any advice on how we can make it more comfortable for you and your pets lets us know! We look forward to hosting you!

quarter acre lovely fenced yard, well-kept area with agility course, kiddie pools, and ramp. Lots of fun stuff to do. Small building with toys, A/C and heat for use by the humans and dogs to store personal items, drinks, food, etc. Table with umbrella for the humans. Grill available upon request. Host is a dog trainer and behavior specialist.

Lovely, large fenced area that is partially shaded with big trees. Very small pond on the property. Please make sure to bring everything you’ll need to make this a fun and safe time for you and your dog. Bags are provided for picking up after your dog.
