Enjoy a peaceful space in Mars Hill located on an active hobby farm. Our Sniffspot is fully enclosed with no-climb, 4ft goat fencing and includes walking paths and a small creek for your pups to play in. Easy access from the main road with a small graveled parking space right in front of the Sniffspot entrance. As most properties in Mars Hill, the acreage is located on a hillside. Your dog can play near the creek at the bottom of the slope which is more flat and shaded or take a short hike along the path to the top and enjoy amazing mountain views while your pup plays in the pasture! We do have chickens, goats, sheep and pigs that remain in their separate fenced in pasture, but occasionally the chickens may roam in the parking area, so please be aware.

We bought this property for our dogs, and have invested heavily in creating an off-leash haven for them. We have 3 separately fenced areas that all connect by gates. Entry to Cody and Lovey's Legacy park is through what we call the "Sniff Lounge" - a lean-to type covered porch filled with straw to roll and dig in, and lots of smells to uncover. The Sniff Lounge leads to the lightly wooded Explorium - a shaded area with hanging food puzzle toys, barrels, and natural obstacles for dogs to explore. The Explorium leads to our Green Space - a large, open fenced yard with shade and sun, a pool, and some additional obstacles, jumps, a homemade creek and waterfall and a tunnel. You and your dog are welcome to use the pool, but please be aware that there is no dog ramp. You will have to help your dog navigate the stairs to get out. Do not use the pool if you are not willing to get in with your dog! We have the homemade creek and waterfall (just turn the hose nozzle on) and a baby pool for dogs who can't get in the human pool. At the back of the Green Space, you'll see another gate that leads to the Wooded Grove. The Wooded Grove is also fully fenced and has a couple trails cut in to the woods, with some chairs to relax in. The Wooded Grove is not large, but dogs love it, and it feels so nice and cool even on super hot days. It's a place for dogs to get their Sniff on for sure. Cody and Lovey's Legacy Park is named in honor of our past friends, who would have really enjoyed this wonderful spot.

This is a large private field that is tucked just a short distance from downtown Hendersonville one block from the Hendersonville Community Co-op and not far from Flat Rock! This spot Less than 10 minutes from Exit 53 on I-26! Making it the perfect place to stretch your legs before traveling on! It has everything you need: - Flat- though the ground is uneven - Drive in access so you can park inside the 12" gate into the fenced area with your pets and close the gate behind you - A custom built gazebo for shelter from the sun and rain - No drive by traffic - No people walking by - Full view of your pet while they run and play! - Games for people and dogs are already onsite! - However, Please remember extra water for you and your pets. I am passionate about helping dogs and this is my fourth Sniffspot and I will do all I can to make this one just as enjoyable for the responsible pet owners closer to Henderson County!

Silent H Acres is almost an acre fenced spot for your dog to go sniffing, running, fetching, and discovering. There are toys to play with (frisbees, tug rope, tennis balls, etc) and sticks to fetch. The grass ranges from 2” mowed, to 4” natural, up to about 12+ inches. A smattering of trees and two sitting areas for you - the gray Adirondack chairs are a bit too heavy to move, but feel free to move the red ones anywhere you would like. ***We will be adding a couple of agility exercise areas for your dog in the next few days. Toward the front of the field, I have mowed a curvy type of track in case you want to work on guided leash training. For you, we will keep a track around the perimeter of the fence mowed so you can use it for a walking track. PLEASE NOTE, the electric fence is DISCONNECTED. WE ARE OPEN post-Helene! The creek road is closed, but you can get to my farm through Mars Hill. I've added a couple loads of dirt to the fire pit area, which your dogs are welcome to run and dig in until I get it spread out. The top pasture of this small farm is available for dogs to sniff and exercise. Sometimes there will be farm animal smells, horses and goats, and turkeys, rabbits and deer may also visit. There is a nice hill to tire everyone out, and a pretty view of my little farm. If you sit at the top and throw balls down the hill your dogs will get very tired! There is a picnic table, a swing, a table and chairs, a fire pit chairs, a splashing trough, a dog toy box, and a hose. You can pull right in through the double red gates and close them behind you, to leave my neighbors room to drive past. This will also ensure your dogs don't escape from the sniff spot when you open the car doors. There is a large horse water trough, feel free to dump it and refill it if you need to (and if you're strong enough!) There's also a large box of dog toys, if your dog tears one up you can throw the pieces in the trash, they're all disposable.

5+ acres of rolling hay fields! Depending on the time of year the grass may be tall or cut. Access to small creek along the field. The field is not fenced but is almost completely surrounded by woods! Beautiful, fun place to roam and let the pups run!

11/19- The site has been mowed and my dogs have spent several hours there at different times without illness or issue. We are hoping to open by the end of this coming weekend. 11/13 the fencing has been repaired, the gazebo is back in place and my dogs have been out there visiting without issue. We will be cutting the trail to the beach in the next two weeks then we will be ready to open. 9/28- heavy damage due to flooding. Closed until I can rebuild. Sites 1, 2, and 4 are open for your pups and your continued patronage would be a great help to me and this site. Access is possible to those sites. Thank you for your understanding. Have you ever wanted to run your dog on three football sized flat fields? This is your chance. Located behind UPM Raflatac in the cane creek industrial park this huge spot is the third one we have built. It’s been designed for complete privacy for you and your pets. No drive by traffic no people walking by, just you and your kids on 4 flat acres. It’s perfect for all ages of dogs and their humans because of the terrain! If you are up for an adventure, we have cut in a small trail to access Cane Creek. It is part of the same property but is NOT fenced in any way. If your pup enjoy off or on leash hikes, then feel free. The trail is outside the fenceing look for the silver gate across from the Gazbo. It is an out and back path with two small hills about a 3-5min walk in the woods. This area is not fenced. A picnic table, gazebo with swing, hammock and umbrella, are located here for lots of seating and shelter. Some toys are provided and even a game of horse shoes for humans! I think a Remote Control car or a drone, a mountain bike might be really fun to bring or even a Remote Control plane. This spot is actually part of the old Fletcher airport.
