55Beautiful location with tons of wonderful trails! Quiet and peaceful! Our four pups LOVED it! We will definitely be back!
55This spot was wonderful! My pup and I had the best day hiking around the well maintained property. So much space! Lisa was a great host. She met us at the gate to introduce herself and made sure we got into the property ok. She filled us in on the characteristics of the property and was super pleasant and easy to communicate with. We will definitely be back again, and hopefully with some friends to share the joy :)
55So much to explore! We spent almost 2 hours and feel like we barely scratched the surface. Once our dog was nice and tired, we enjoyed the views from the adirondacks for a bit. We'll definitely be back.
55Wow!!
55This was our first Sniff Spot and it was awesome. So much room to explore. PJ is so happy and exhausted. The hosts were so nice. Although it’s quite a long and dusty drive up, we will be back for sure!
55First of all, 1 hour is not enough time to book this sniffspot. After hiking just one or two of the many trails to choose from, we decided to go back where the cars were and let the dogs play. We made a fire in one of the many pits. It was a beautiful day. Just a heads up, there is no restroom🌲. There also were shot gun shells and bullet casings along with clay disc's littering the ground where people skeet shoot in that area.
55amazing place to explore and relax with the dogs!
55We had the BEST time here with our dogs! So many trails and space to roam and explore. We will definitely be back. The host is very kind!
55What a gorgeous spot!! The host was so kind and communicative, and there is plenty of space to run and play without distractions. Will definitely be visiting again!!
55Rare opportunity to safely, and privately, explore a large and beautiful property with your furred friend. Varied terrain, mud free path options, lovely views and a welcoming host. Just perfect.

Hello! The Mitchell Family Tree Farm was established in 2002. At Christmas time families come out to U-Cut their perfect tree🎄. Now we are wanting to open our farm to have people come enjoy our land and the trails we have built, and what better way then walking your dog 🐶

Nature in the City Private Dog Park

Nature in the City is a unique Private Dog Park that is 1 1/2 acres of beautiful natural land with varied landscapes. Step out of the city and into our natural setting that features different areas including 2 grassy fields perfect for fetch w/discs, ropes, or toys, (balls are not best here due to all of the surrounding bushes), a couple of forested areas, several nature trails for hiking adventures, a wetland-like area with a healthy little creek that’s a hit with the pups. They can wade, cool off, and drink from the natural water. Your dogs will have so many different sniffing and secure off-leash exploring opportunities here! Our spot is so much more than just a fenced field! The area is diverse and so much fun for your dog(s)! This is a great spot to work on recall. There are a couple areas on the trails that are a little steep, there’s a trail where you have to walk over logs 🪵, and the little creek has to be stepped over in places, so people with limited mobility may have issues in these areas of the spot. There are plenty of spaces and trails that are suitable for all abilities. If you’re looking for a basic fenced field to play chuck-it then this probably isn’t your spot. We are continually working on our property, so every time you visit you will see improvements! We provide a rain/sun shelter with 4 foldable chairs (message us in advance if you need more chairs and we’ll put them out for you), and lots of supplies including dog toys & balls, poop bags, hand sanitizer, natural bug spray, wipes, hand towels, first aid kit, and a cornhole yard game. Located outside are 2 zero-gravity reclining chairs, a kids size picnic table, and fresh drinking water for your pups. There are open areas with sun ☀️, and there is shade all day due to many large trees. Our property is fully secure with 5 to 6 ft fencing. We walk the fence line regularly and check to make sure it’s secure. We are located close-in on the Westside of Vancouver one mile from I-5 on 78th Street in West Hazel Dell near Felida. *It gets muddy in areas when it has been wet/raining outside. We have recently put down wood chips along trails and in muddy areas which help a lot! Come prepared so you enjoy your visit. **We recently added 6 solar flood lights in the main field area for those of you who visit after dark. They provide subtle light at the entryway, main field, and the shelter for about 4-5 hrs after it gets dark outside. If you you want to explore the trails after dark we recommend putting a collar light on your dog(s), and that you bring headlamps and flashlights 🔦. ***We recently added a small bridge over the middle section of the creek! We will be adding another bridge over the west end of the creek soon! We look forward to hosting you and your pups! 🐶 Thank you!
