My husband and I have a little peace of heaven here in the Shenandoah Valley! Our goal is to provide a space for all dogs to play, run and sniff away! We have a huge field with a platform/ramps, tug rope, agility poles, stick collection, hidden container with treats and possibly a prize toy! We host many special events for pups as well as birthday parties for your pups! I spent many years volunteering, fostering and ultimately adopting many animals from rescue non-profits over the years. Throughout all of the years I spent in animal rescues, I realized that most dogs don’t get much time outside of the kennels. I also came to understand that many rescue animals have trauma related behaviors and cannot integrate with other dogs. I feel so grateful to be able to provide a space for dogs to be off leash and have the freedom to explore! Also, it is a significant bonding experience for pups and their parents to have this special time together! Our dogs are in a separate fenced area but because I feel this time is for you and your pup(s), I will put my pups in the house so they are not visible to you and your pups. Greene Lake Acres Private Dog Park In Stephens City

Welcome to Greek Lake Acres! We are located in Stephens City and we have 23 acres in total. About 5 acres are open grassy fields with an acre sized pond for swimming in the middle, surrounded by woods, complete with a few trails. Feel free to message me after booking for directions- GPS can sometimes try to take you through Lake Fredrick and you can NOT get to us from there. (Google GPS works best to find us) The lake is "swim at your own risk" as we do not have a life guard on duty. The water edge slopes so you can come out with ease. There is NO FISHING permitted in the pond. Again, there is no lifeguard on duty, dogs swim at the responsibility/risk of their owner. Picnic tables are available near the waters edge and also in the trees next to the pond for shade. On the picnic table we have some floating toys for retrieving and also some sanitary bags if you need any. We are pesticide and fertilizer free, so please make sure you have tick/flea preventative because ticks love the woods! We are not fenced in, so recall is very important. The neighbors do have dogs, some wander so friendliness is important. The property does have an abundance of wild life, including but not limited to deer, turkey, geese, ducks, squirrels and fox, but they do not stay around humans or dogs. Parking is on the lake side driveway near the green sign (see photos) Please note we are often outside enjoying our property as well. If you look at the photos, we typically stay in the “red X” area. If we have guests, our dogs are secured in the house. We can’t wait to see you! Beautiful scenic spot just outside of Staunton! This mostly level space offers lots of options for your fur family. An acre of fully fenced in yard, an additional acre of open field (fenced on 2 sides only) with large trees, and a shallow river access that’s great for swimming and playing! The fenced in portion of yard also has kids play equipment available, rocking chairs, and a porch swing. A small picnic table with umbrella is also available for use. We do have neighbors, but because we sit further back than other houses, our yard offers a lot of privacy with woods and a field surrounding us.
