55Bradley (~15 pounds) had a great time at this spot! It was a great size, and lot's of space for us to play fetch. Plenty of places to park. The multiple levels and variety of surfaces are a nice touch. I found no gaps where my little dog could slip through (they covered the holes they found with cinder blocks), I felt safe letting him off leash as I didn't think he would get out. The only con is that if you have a curious dog or a dog who likes to eat things, there are lots of things lying around, old containers, some kind of sprayer, etc. That kept me on my toes trying to keep him from messing with them (and thus was a little worried letting him roam). Overall, a great spot and would definitely go back!!!!
55Boomer loved this spot! It was large with lots of space to run around and sniff. The multiple levels made it more interesting for her to explore. The fencing is good and felt very safe for her around. The only thing was that there were some random stuff like old containers lying around, which curious dogs could find edible... otherwise great spot!
55Awesome yard with really nice people. It's rare to find a yard this large in Seattle, and the two levels made it even more fun. Highly recommended!
55we had a great time playing here! there's enough space for the pups to run, varied surfaces for them to roll and sniff and the fencing all seemed secure and in a nice quiet neighborhood so we weren't bothered by other dogs walking by or in neighboring yards. The only thing to watch out for was there were a few misc kids' toys etc lying around so if your pup is inclined to chew/get into things, you might need to keep a close eye.
55Our two rescue dogs had a great time running and sniffin around! There is lots of space for them to chase each other around and even some steps to a second level for added exercise. Fully fenced so no worries of your doggos running off. We did not encounter any other dogs around. Our dogs can be reactive(mostly on leash) so it’s nice to sometimes find a spot for them to run around free from the stress of a bunch of other dogs at the park. Will definitely be back! Also, quick and easy communication with Kris. Thanks!
45We really enjoyed this sniff spot for its variety of surfaces, grass, concrete ,& bark. It worked well for our semi reactive dogs and it was a relief to have easy access to a fun spot for them to explore. We will use this spot again for sure!
55Great spot - close to downtown, plenty of space, lots of parking!
45Nice large fenced space - will be even better when the construction is done and there is no concern about dogs stepping on any equipment. Friendly hosts!
45We had a miscommunication and the gate was locked, but the host let us in once we reached out via the app. I would recommend contacting the host prior to your visit to make sure you don’t lose any play time! The host was very kind and the yard is spacious and enriching. Our dogs had a blast! It’s fully fenced and we did not encounter any other dogs on our way from the car to the gate, so this space is ideal for reactive dogs.
55First SniffSpot, best experience. Just six weeks ago, my rescue wouldn’t leave the closet. Though he has immensely improved, getting him out of the house is a very scary thing. After an anxious ride in the car, he did a complete 180 and was a whole different dog in this spacious yard! His tail was wagging like I’ve never seen before. Best experience, and I’m sure to visit again!

We have a large space and we’re happy to share it with our doggo friends. We are especially happy to share with reactive dogs that need space by themselves. All reservations will get the entire backyard to themselves.

WINTER 2024 UPDATE: The wetland in the pasture is filling up with the rains and can get to be 1-2 feet deep. Bring a towel to dry off your dog! WATER/HOSE -- We have a hose available for use * upon request * we must be home to turn the water on, please message us if you would like the water turned on and we will do our best to accommodate. -------- Two adjacent and connected pasture fenced yards totaling almost one acre including mixed long grass/dirt/wild flowers, beautiful old trees and sloped terrain above and below. No known hazards aside from hilly terrain and some blackberry brambles (we are diligently fighting them). In rainy months Nov-April there is a shallow pond/wetland (bring a towel). Fencing is all new 5' agricultural fencing secure for dogs of all sizes. Enjoy the serene space with a creek just beyond the fencing. Many songbirds too! Upper pasture features a playset with slides and swings. Two benches for sitting. Maybe not suitable for very tiny dogs due to eagles/ hawks. Private!!! Magical Mossy Forest

Magical Mossy Forest Sniffspot is a large mystical woodland adventure for dogs in Redmond on the way to Carnation. Boots are recommended in the winter rain. MMF is preferred by puppies, dogs, people, adults and kids alike because it has potable water, power, picnic tables, chairs, several firepits, lit portapotties, 3 swing sets, 3 slides, monkey bars, 3 Forts, a log bridge to cross over Little Ames Creek for when the creek is flowing, a doggy playground, lots of picturesque moss, lighted parking lot, woodchip trails and many footpaths over 5 forested moss covered acres. Parking is near the road, separated by 50 ft of woods, so we suggest that all our doggy friends be leashed until they are on the trails with you. Please leash your dog until into the forest away from the parking area, after that Bob's Your Uncle! Watch kids and dogs in the parking area near the road, and at Ames Creek. A secluded place to dork out and have fun, enjoying a natural Pacific rainforest. Note that the creek is dry in midsummer until the fall and winter rains kick in. Boots are recommended in the fall and winter. Find a map of the main trails in a photo on our MMF Sniffspot site. There are lots of foot trails through the understory ferns. The log bridge can be used to cross Ames Creek, or you can ford it to discover the rest of Magical Mossy Forest Sniffspot. Please pack out doggy bags with you because there is no garbage pickup here, please leave no trace. If there is a downpour and you want to wait it out there is a dry shed in the parking area. Access to power helps keep your batteries charged. Please carry your toilet paper (sorry it walks away). The portapotties are cleaned once a week.
