I love my property and would love to share it with dog lovers i grew up here on this property and would not want to be anywhere else
This delightful old orchard is a paradise for adventurous pups. It has large grassy areas, a greenbelt, lots of mole hills, rabbits to sniff in the bushes. Perfect for recall training or a game of hide and seek. During the wet season you’ll definitely want to wear boots!
$5 off your first visit! Use Code: Lori12 If your dog loves to sniff, roam, fetch, or just relax, this is the place. This 3/4 acre site is perfectly situated between Tacoma and Puyallup on a quiet dead end road in the Summit/Waller area. Easy to find, separate access, off street parking, dog toys, plastic pool for dogs to cool off, access to hose water, even a covered deck with chairs and a propane fire place for those rainy days. Weekend bonfires through February, and a gas firepit available for heat during the cold weather. Humans have their own free Keurig and snack bar. Sit back, relax, and let your pet enjoy some play time. On clear days Mt Rainier makes an appearance and it spectacular. Night lighting for those short winter daylight hours.
This spot is a 1/2 acre rough pasture with a bench, fruit trees, a tree swing and woods surrounded by greenbelt. It is fully fenced and gated although if your dog is small and escape-minded it may do so because it is wire field fence, not board fence. Please park in front of the garage and keep your dog leashed until you reach the pasture area at the back of the property. Enjoy!
Please come and let your dogs run and play on our little piece of heaven! Feel free to bring a book or laptop and enjoy yourself on our covered back patio area while your dog/s enjoy the fully fenced property. Bring a few supplies, and enjoy a campfire in the fire-pit if you wish as well. Launch a ball from one end of the field to the other, watch the chickens peck and scratch, or simply enjoy the beautiful surroundings in a fully fenced, dog friendly area.
2.1 acres of fully-fenced heaven. As a dog owner/lover, this provides a necessary peace of mind. Pull inside the gate, and let ‘em lose! Poop happens typically w/in first 10 mins; bags can be disposed in trash. Hose water available by front door, back patio, and chicken coop area. All areas are fair game once you are inside the gate. Once a stop on the Gig Harbor Garden Tour, this property boasts a variety of terrain to keep your pup(s) busy for hours. We are at the end of a private lane, and the back of the property abuts to 50 acres of DNR. Sightings of cattle, wild peacocks, deer, raccoons and grouse are common. Make yourself (and family) at home around the fire pit, small orchard, tree house, trampoline, flagstone paths and trails. Good shoes highly recommended. NOTE: Sniffspot is promoting their “Sniffpass”, and they have the box automatically checked to “Opt in” when you make a booking. This is out of my control. I do not want my guests to feel Sniffpass is necessary to book my spot. Please uncheck that box if you are not interested to avoid unnecessary “surprise” charges upon checkout (unless you want to subscribe, which is totally ok too!).
We have a giant hill leading down to a majority of our property. Then it's open grass field and some forested area with only one neighboring house visible. It's common to see deer, rabbits, and Eagles. People and dogs can get a great workout on the hill, or you can throw a ball from the top and leave the workout to the dog.
Tucked off main road, a surprisingly country setting in the heart of Tacoma. Deer, rabbits, hawks, and coyotes (at night) and lots of good sniffing opportunities for your furry friend! Please note there are water bowls, some toys, poo bucket, and extra poo bags under the big apple tree by the garage.
Centrally located in the Summit area nestled between Tacoma and Puyallup. We’re just minutes between the I-5 and 512. At Summit Ridge Canine Retreat, there’s something to satisfy your dog’s need to stimulate their natural curiosity and bring them home tired…the humans too! 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾 Included in your booking, you and your pup(s) will have all three different areas to engage their noses in different sensory experiences while on our 3 acre fully fenced property. Whether it’s our indoor arena, the ‘Dog Den’ is suitable for small to medium sized dogs to play. The indoor arena is heated, during the cold rainy season and also air conditioned during the hot summer months. The indoor ‘Dog Den’ is also great for having a Birthday or Gotcha “Pawty”. The Dog Den can be fully enclosed for those rainy days or stay cool in summer with the A/C on. The slider will open into the fully fenced 1/4 acre grass dog Zoomy Pen🐶 The fully enclosed grass ‘Zoomie Pen’ is perfect for zoomie time, puppies and dogs in training, some toy fun, playdates, or for dogs without good recall. We have lights in the indoor and around the Zoomie Pen for the dark autumn and winter evening nights. Just outside the Zoomy Pen is our large play field giving lots of room for Chuckit tossing☄️parkour on the logs, relaxing on the lounge chair under the trees or some nose work fun for mind stimulation and enrichment. The large playfield connects to the backwoods🌲so 🐾Venture out to the 1.5 acre wooded area providing a cool shaded area of trails for more sniffing, wildlife spotting and occasional llamas, cows and horses from the neighboring back pasture🦙 We also have a ‘Potty For The People’, a private outdoor toilet for guest use next to the indoor ‘Dog Den’ We now have a rinse off station with warm water, shampoo spray and towels. Full fenced .5 acres or more. There is access to water just have to walk to the front of the house and use the house. Please pick up after your dog. My dogs are all rescues and two come from a reservation in Montana and need the space to run and be free but not having a fenced yard wasn’t an option for them. So I hope that my space can be a place for your dogs to all be free and safe!
