It’s named in memory of our dog Max, who passed away from cancer. He loved this area so much. So, we decided to share with other dogs, who don’t have the luxury of running and sniffing and being a dog. Big pond in the back is drained do to a sand vain.

The huge backyard is fully fenced and approximately 2 acres. There are also 20 acres of unfenced woods.

We understand that some dogs may be reactive or require a bit more space, and we are happy to accommodate their needs. Our location offers plenty of room for your dog to explore and play without the worry of unexpected encounters. No immediate neighbors have dogs that share a fence with us. Occasionally, a dog in the distance may be outside near the southeast corner, but this is rare, ensuring a calm and enjoyable visit for your pet. Additionally, our spot is conveniently located right by the B&O Trail, making it easy for you to warm up or cool down your visit with a walk. Just about 1 acre of flat grass that is completely surrounded by 6’ chain link fence. Outdoor spigot w/hose, outdoor power outlet, free high speed WiFi password, trash can, off street parking, picnic table with umbrella, hammock available upon request. Amazing sunset views

This 5+ acre parcel is full of fallow field fun for you and your pets! This farm is also a certified wildlife habitat, so it's great for birding if you enjoy that! Humans can stay on the mowed pathways while the dogs roam the open fields. Active farming activities including beehives, vegetable growing areas and bramble patch are some of the farming activities you might encounter! While the area is only partially fenced, a large ditch to the south, creek to the north, and natural wooded boundaries define the edges of the parcel. Recommended for dogs on leash or under good voice control as a nearby road is quite busy. Feel free to view the growing areas and honeybee activity, but please do not allow dogs to enter or dig in active crop areas nor molest the beehive located in the far SW corner of the property. We have a 2 acre fenced pasture behind the house. The grass may be long, however, will be occasionally cut so shouldn’t be crazy. Your dog and shoes may get muddy after rainy days. Please plan ahead. The fenced area is entered on the right side of the property through swinging gates. Owners of small dogs may want to be careful near the gates as the openings are large enough for small dogs to get through.

Enjoy a fully fenced (mesh livestock style fencing, small enough to keep in little dogs) run through mowed grass, two short wooded trails and access to a large pond with dock. Dogs are welcome to swim—bring towels and be prepared for some mud if it’s been raining or you have a pond monster doggy. Woods have wonderful smells, my dogs sometimes find delightful things to roll in. A hose is available for use on warm days and there is a nearby Tractor Supply if your pup needs a spa treatment after their romp. We do have chickens on site and ask you not allow your dog to harass them as you enter and leave (chickens are in a separate fenced area and in a coop/run). My dogs will be in the house—some barking may happen on your arrival but they will not be loose. Wildlife may be encountered (deer, squirrels, crawfish, muskrats, many birds and snapping turtles). **Note: I didn’t want to claim the site as accessible as it is grass and some uneven ground, but feel free to reach out if you need an accommodation to access the spot and we can discuss what is possible** We welcome all. Hello! Welcome to K8’s Mo’Tail! Where we offer a “island” to you and your pups! The island is completely surrounded by water and the only entrance on to the island is through a double door covered bridge! We do have goats and ducks but they usually keep to themselves! I have 2 50ft leads available to be used but you must provide your own dog life jacket if you want them to wear one!

Lovely fully fenced in back yard available for your pup to safely play and get those zoomies out! Lots of dogs and cats are in the neighborhood, including a large dog on the property. My dog will be kept indoors at all times.
