35The yard itself was ok, decent space and some incline which is good for my dog playing fetch so he has to work harder. But there was a crazy amount of poop... Like there was a big area where there was a pile of poop every couple inches. The fence is also kind of janky, there's a lot of patched up areas that don't seem very sturdy which is scary since it's right by a busy road. Don't think I'll be coming back.
55My dogs had a great time! This is a nice large, It’s a regular shaped yard with a good chain-link fence. Yes we will definitely use this location again. The homeowner was very responsive to my text, because I had a little trouble finding the place. Good parking. It’s really a convenient location as well.
15No less than 15 piles of old dog poop, 6 of which I cleaned up before realizing there were too many. Grass at least 8” high with concrete blocks almost grown over them which made them hard to see. I stepped in a few holes in the ground that were covered by grass. It wasn’t safe for my large dog to go running without potential damage nor safe for me to walk without twisting an ankle or falling. I left after 15 minutes.
55This was my first time at this location. My dog Mae had a wonderful time! She’s an 18 month old Great Dane/mastif mix with a lot of energy. She had such a great run. Thanks for letting her play in your yard!
55Very large secure yard. My pup enjoyed playing fetch! I wish I’d gotten there before the sun went down, because my pup kept losing the ball. Thanks for letting us use your yard!

I have been an animal lover since I can remember. I grew up around dogs and have two of my own currently. I work from home so I have a lot of flexibility.

Pepper's Pasture in Gig Harbor

Beautiful sloped pasture with some woods at the lower end. 1.5 acres. If desired, you can drive right into the pasture and secure the gate behind you before letting your dog(s) loose. It changes by the season. In summer, the grass grows tall and you can enjoy the shade of alders in the lower portion. A seasonal creek runs through it in winter and spring. Your dog may find the scent of deer where they've bedded down at night, though it's unlikely that any will be present for your visit. You will see that I've planted and protected some fruit trees and native plants here and there. A sheltered area allows you to sit in the shade or out of the rain, and that's where you'll also find most amenities, such as toys and water. There are two driveways onto the property. You want the north one with the sign "Ericksen." After driving up that driveway, you'll see a "sniffspot" sign on the gate into the pasture. Please do not enter the farmhouse yard. The residents of the farmhouse are not the sniffspot hosts. For any questions, issues, or suggestions about how I can improve this spot, please drop me a message or call me, Annika, at 253-346-5863. New: accepting donations for COMPOST, like leaves, lawn clippings, pumpkins, newspaper, fruit/veg peels, coffee grounds, annual plants including tomatoes, used potting soil, tree trimmings, etc. You'll see the compost receptacle as you come up the driveway.
