55I just love this sniffspot....and so do my dogs. The host even left a little Christmas treat for the dogs, which is truly above and beyond!
55This was my first time visiting and the the dogs had a great time running around and exploring. Beautiful property and very clean.
55Great spot! Fenced and no holes in fence. Couldn't shut the gate for it to be fenced fully, but still an awesome spot! My doggos had fun!
55We had an amazing time at this sniffspot! It was incredible to let the dogs run free in such a large fenced in area. We will definitely be back!
55Dogs had a blast. Always a great time. Will definitely be back.
55Our dogs loved this place. They spent the whole time running around and exploring everything. It’s a beautiful spot. We will definitely do this again.
55My dog loved swimming in the lake!
55That was the most amazing experience for my dog. Nala, she had a blast, she's never been in a yard where she could just run and be free and be off-leash. Being we live in an apartment, she just I logged it and didn't I expect her to actually jump in a pond, what she did and she enjoyed it and now I get to smell the fishy pong on the way home, but she absolutely enjoyed it and hoping I can bring her again. Very soon, she just she just had so much fun
55We had another great visit today. My boys had a blast and got lots of energy out.
55Beautiful place with lots of sniffs for the pups. Extremely clean and well kept. Our dogs were having the time of their lives. Amber is incredibly responsive and really has a wonderful property. Cannot wait to return with the pups!

Hazards

The property has a very large pond. It does freeze over but is often only partially frozen during the winter. This can be dangerous if people or dogs walk on the ice. Please also be aware the driveway and property may be slippery, wet, or icy. We are not able to ensure the driveway or other surfaces are cleared or salted between each visitor. Please be advised, you are entering at your own responsibility and we are unable to control the weather or the conditions created by inclement weather. This spot has a water feature, make sure to review these guidelines for visiting spots with water before visiting: https://help.sniffspot.com/article/167-how-to-keep-your-dog-safe-around-pools-and-water

Extras

Disc Golf$10

This property features a challenging and private 18 hole disc golf course. Dog parents are welcome to bring your own discs or we can provide a starter bag with discs that must be returned before you leave. A map of the course layout can be provided upon request.

Fishing$10

Feel free to bring your fishing gear and fish in our stocked pond. The pond features mostly bluegill and sunfish, but there are other small to medium sized fish as well. You can catch and release or keep your catch! We recommend larger lures to prevent all the small fish from stealing your bait. (there are a ton of them!)

Hello, my name is Amber. I have two dogs, Rocket and Kobe. My two boys have enjoyed running around our property and sniffing out chipmunks, and I think your dog(s) will too!

Wynshire Woods Dog Trail In Whitmore Lake

🌳🌲Welcome to Wynshire Woods! 🌲🌳 We feel so blessed to call this property our home, and would love for others to experience the beautiful nature we get to enjoy each day. Wynshire Woods includes over a mile of trails, fallen trees to sniff, hills to climb, and ravines to explore. Our 49 acre property is nestled in the woods, 1/4 of a mile off of the road with parking near our metal barn at the bottom of our driveway. We have over a mile of beautiful trails through hills and trees, with a short and long trail option. The long trail is about a mile long and takes 40-60 minutes to walk. The short trail is closer to 1/3-1/2 miles and takes around 25 minutes to walk. We hope your dog(s) enjoy all the sights, sounds and smells throughout the woods- we have wild turkey, deer, many small wild animals to see, and and have him/her/them go home tired, satisfied and happy. This is a completely unfenced property, and wildlife and farm animals are abundant. Because we have free range chickens and goats up near our home, all dogs must be leashed or on a long line. Part of the trail does go past our fenced goat area. Any dogs who enter our farm area and hurt or traumatize animals will be fined. We do have 4 dogs who are contained to an invisible fence which does not have access to the trails. As long as your dog does not come into their area, there will be no other dog interactions on our property. 🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸 We are going into hunting season, and will be closed on the weekends so my husband can hunt. I will make sure any additional days he’s hunting I have the spot blocked off. For extra precaution (because there are properties neighboring us that people hunt), dogs should be kept on leash through hunting season (Oct 1-Dec 31). I’ve also purchased 2 orange dog vests that I’ll hang up in the hay barn/hut by the parking area that you can use while walking. (You may want to wear an orange hat as well). Just to be clear- no one will be hunting on our property when the trail has open days. I just want to be extra cautious because there are fields/woods outside our property that people do hunt. 😁.
