45Nice space for my dog to run around. There were lots of cords around the deck I was nervous for her to run and trip, and some tools like shovel. And got not being able to go on dirt patches was hard for her. Otherwise, we had a good time, host was very kind and friendly. Would book again.
45Nice spacious and securely fenced yard. The host was friendly and communicative over messenger. My dogs enjoyed exploring the yard. There is no grass, and the mulch areas are mostly covered with tarps or potentially the host's veggie garden. The pond area is covered a little precariously covered with a lattice fence piece. There were some foxtails but I alerted the host and hopefully they will be removed. Lots of shade. Easy entrance instructions in quiet cul de sac with easy parking. Thanks so much for having us!
55I live in a place with no backyard area for my medium size dog to roam off leash. He is a very energetic dog and although he is super friendly, we hesitate to take him to dog parks. Having the opportunity through Sniffspot to have him wander and play off leash is amazing. This location is a large spacious place to play ball/fetch with your dog. The area is all concrete, which works well for us. We just needed a secure fenced in area where our dog couldn’t bolt but could be off leash. He explored the area a little and played catch with a ball for a bit. The host was very nice and provided us with a few balls and a water bowl. There are several places to sit, if needed.
15Lots of random construction equipment around. No grass (as advertised). Felt like it was a half done yard with a lot of hazards laying around. If this gets cleaned up could possibly be a decent spot.
55Clean open space with great seating. My dog had a great time!

Additional rules

1. Please enter through the right-hand wooden fence. You will have to pull the string to slide the lock rod up to unlock the fence door. Pull the fence towards you to open. DO NOT PUSH. You will use this same gate to EXIT, just let the lock bar slide to the ground and slowly bring the door to a close position. After a brief contact with the ground, the latch falls into place (the hole) in the ground. 2. Once in , Immediately close door and the slide lock back in, otherwise the dog might run out and even the high wind might destroy the fence. 3. No peeing in the garden area. I am growing edible vegetables. They are labeled so you’ll know. Dog can pee behind the shed or on the side yard. 4. No drinking water from the pond. It has fish and algae controlling chemicals

Private 2 Acre Forest Trail and Swimming Hole In Rural Woodside

This is a private, undeveloped, forested spot. If you are interested in this spot, you and your dog should be up for a mini adventure. This spot is not a manicured, backyard park. It is wild and beautiful, and a rare find in this area. THERE IS NO TRASH SERVICE AT THIS FOREST LOCATION. PACK EVERYTHING OUT WITH YOU, INCLUDING DOG POOP BAGGIES. The trail starts at the west (downhill) end of the parking spot, and winds downhill to the creek (there are a couple of switchbacks). The trail from the parking area to the creek is less than 5 minutes long. At the bottom of the trail, is a deck. Beyond the deck is a year-round creek with a swimming hole. There are fish, frogs, newts, and crawdads. All wildlife is protected, so please don't catch or remove them. You may walk up and down along the creek exploring, as long as you turn around if you see a waterfall downstream or a house in the distance. The trail that leads downhill to the creek is intermediate, not for beginners or flip-flops. There should be no poison oak or ticks on the trail, but if you venture off the trail, you may encounter poison oak or ticks. There are blackberry bushes to the sides of the trail that resemble poison oak. There should be no foxtails. You may see wild animals. As a wild spot, you may encounter typical hazards that are present in most local forest trails, such as wildlife, water, and trip-and-fall hazards. This is a private spot, and there should be no other people or dogs during your booking. If you see someone during your booking, please let us know as soon as possible, so that we can take steps to prevent them from trespassing again. There is no lighting at this spot, so if you book before sunrise or after sunset, please bring a headlamp or flashlight. There is no trash collection service at this location, so please pack out any trash. Thank you!
