15We enjoyed the sniff spot. I found and cleaned up one stray turd, but otherwise, it is a very nice space and a great workout for the dogs. The negative part of our experience was when we left. We exited at our assigned time of 12:30. As we were putting our dogs in the car, the owners approached with two horses, two dogs, and a child. They came within 8 feet of us and our dogs freaked out. The whole reason we use sniffspots instead of public dog parks is because we have reactive dogs. They saw we were leaving, but instead of waiting 2 minutes until we were in the car, they kept approaching. One of our dogs was howling, afraid of the horses, and trying to run away, the other who is aggressive to dogs, wriggled free from my husband and ran at the horses and dogs. I chased her and got her back before she got hurt or attacked anyone. They forced a dangerous situation that could easily have been avoided. It showed a lack of common sense, courtesy, and professionalism. My dogs could have been hurt, their dogs could have been hurt. They knew when our appointment was, they saw we were leaving, and still they made the choice to force their two dogs, horse, and child within several feet of our anxious reactive dogs.
55Bean had a great time! She ran along the trail path and was really enjoyed sniffing about the beautiful trees and all the smells on the ground. The fencing was secure and we didn't hear much animals or people around. The horses can be seen a little from the hill so it was good to get some redirection training.
55My dogs had a blast! We failed to fully secure the entrance gate (used just a bungee cord and not the metal chain) initially and my escape artist did slip out, but that was entirely our bad. There is so much room to run!
55We love coming here! 1hr is perfect. All 3 dogs I’ve brought here have enjoyed romping up the two large hills and running through the foliage.
55My girl absolutely loved this spot! So many hills to climb and loved running & exploring. Thank you for sharing this wonderful spot! Will definitely be back.
55One of our favorites. Exercise for the dogs and for me!
55Always a great time! We love the leaves during the fall season! Cut our visit short today due to an off leash young black lab barking and visiting the fence line.
55Very cool spot for our pup to explore and run around in. It’s more unkept and had some thorny bushes which I was worried about but in the end my pup avoided them and had a blast running around and exploring!
45Amazing space! My dog was so happy. She did manage to escape the fencing unfortunately, so for true escape artists the fence is not 100% secure. Luckily we were able to find her in the fenced horse pasture nearby after a harrowing few minutes of searching.
45The place was well fenced. I did’t check all of it because of the steep inclines and wet slippery leaves. I bet it’s pretty in the spring and summer. Think my two dogs enjoyed themselves. They weren’t even concerned when a noisy big gravel truck went up the neighbor’s driveway behind us. I would advise anyone over 60 or with mobility issues to bring a walking stick. The first incline is a doozy. And make sure your dog won’t have any physical issues too. That first incline to the small plateau is a doozy. Don’t think I would have remained upright on the way down if I hadn’t found a solid fallen branch to use. I left it near the main gate for others, Thank you for providing a nice place for me and my dogs to be out on a nice day.

Hello and welcome to our Sniffspot! We hope you enjoy your time here. Just a reminder to please pick up the toys and water bowls that you use when here and place them in the 'used/dirty bin'. This ensures a clean space for the pups that visit after you. Thanks! It's a large, open one acre pasture with plenty of room to run and play. Tall fir trees, our home and other single family homes surround the property. There are neighbors who walk their dogs or play with their dogs in their yards. There are no shared fence-lines but we are noting this in case your dog might be reactive or sensitive to seeing and hearing other dogs and people. There are also chickens nearby - see note below. Double gated entrance for security. Park along the fence on the gravel drive. Plenty of room for your pup to enjoy the zoomies! A few things below to note, thank you! *🎾💦 For the toys and water bowls, we have labeled bins for 'clean' and 'dirty/used'. Please utilize items from the clean containers and then place in used/dirty so we can thoroughly clean them. There are cleaning materials in case you would like to sanitize or self-clean bowls or toys. Thank you! * 🥾The terrain of the pasture does have some dips, bunny holes and there is a section of mown grass, as well as a portion of longer pasture grass, and sticks from the fir trees. Wearing solid and/or waterproof shoes will help you navigate the land. *💦 There is a water jug and spigot with hose in the pasture to use for drinking water. If you use the spigot, please be sure to turn it off. There are small plastic pools available for warm days. You are welcome to use a pool, but please empty it after use and return it to the fenceline area. *💡we have 4 sets of string lights on our fence, two small solar spotlights on the fence, and one large spotlight on the far power pole (motion sensor). It adds some brightness to the pasture for evening visitors. Note that since it is an acre lot, there is a portion of the pasture that is still quite dark once the sun is fully set. *🐓 There are two hens and one rooster on a neighboring fence line and the gate to their henhouse yard has a sign (don't let the chickens out, no matter what they say), as well as a secure gate latch plus bungee cord. They will stay on the far side of their yard, and hide under the shrub/tree cover so are usually not be visible from the Sniffspot pasture, but wanted to share in case this is bothersome to some pup guests. Our rooster, as well as neighborhood roosters, are regularly heard. *please note: due to the burn ban, wildland fires and the dryness of our land, we ask for no smoking on the property at this time, thank you
