55great size for my 50lb mutt and great barriers/boundaries too considering he’s a pretty nosey guy :-)
45Easy parking, nice wide flat grassy yard good for ball tossing and general doggy running around. I knocked off one star because there were a few (3) piles of poo left from a previous renter, but there were poop bags and a trash can to place the full ones in, so not a big problem. My dog is particularly reactive to other dogs and cats, and there was a cat in the nextdoor yard that she was overly excited about. Due to the fence being chain link and running along an alleyway, it was hard for me to relax due to being anxious about the possibility of other dogs walking through the alley. As mentioned in another review, there is a somewhat high (about 4 feet) cement block wall that my dog jumped off of while she was all riled up about the cat. It’s high enough that she stumbled forward as she landed, but fortunately wasn’t injured. Depending on your dog’s disposition, this could be a wonderful sniff spot. It was too overstimulating for my pup.
45Backyard in a quiet neighborhood with a good chain link fence. Make sure to read the note about parking in the alley — access much easier from there. Note we did see a free roaming dog pass through the neighbor’s backyard, so if this would be a problem for you, be advised. A nice touch was a box of toys on a bench which my dog enjoyed investigating!
55Nice safe spot to let pup run around for a bit! Smaller than it looks in pictures but big enough for zoomies. There’s a couple dogs across the street that barked at my dog a lot.
55A perfect little space to run and play! Clean and exactly as described. Scout really loved the stairs for some reason.
55Nice big flat grassy backyard for my princess to romp, jump & run! We’ll be back!
55Amazing!
55Very nice yard with an awning and chairs if any two-legged guests need to rest. Easy parking and access via an alley. Just FYI: There is a retaining wall along the base of house’s foundation that dogs can walk along via stairs on either side—if your pooch is young or adventurous, they might be tempted to jump, and it’s about 3-4 feet high.
55Great spot! perfect to take my dogs out of the apartment and let them run around!
55Our first sniffspot visit! Was local and totally a good setup. We'll be back!

Description

Securely fenced, parking spot along the yard in the alley, bistro lights over the yard for winter evening or early AM visits. Our rain cover recently was damaged by wind and we had to take it down. Sorry for the inconvenience. There is a deck that you can stand beneath for some protection from the elements though! Chairs for lounging humans. WiFi network available. *there is a spigot on the back of the house at the bottom of the stairs to fill the water bowl if it happens to be empty.

My husband and I are dog and animal lovers. We want to provide people who are in similar situations to us a few years ago (before we purchased our home) a place for their puppers to run free. We have a 4 year old Shih Tzu named Tater Tot who loves to get his zoomies out in the yard and we hope your dog will too!

First time guests use code MEADOW1 for a discount off your first visit! What a perfect expanse for you and your dogs to cut loose! In our fully fenced, gently rolling meadow there is plenty of room to run, chase frisbees and balls, dip paws in the pup-pool, and sniff around for the scents of nature. For humans, there is a cozy shelter with seating, a bistro table, and the entertainment of a frisbee "goal". There's shade from a large fir, in the meadow, as well as shade from the woods, on the south side. Fencing is at least 4 feet high, all around. It has a vision-block screen, a 4.8’ top wire, plus double fencing, on the side with neighbor dogs. If the neighbor's Goldens are out, they will friendly bark, and bark. They really want to come over and play. Surrounding Area: There are two private yards (one with an enclosed, screened chicken run, and one with friendly dogs); deep woods on the South side; and an incredible mountain view, over more meadow, on the West side. Sunsets from here are awe-inspiring! Parking: There is room for two vehicles to park near the gate the Meadow. Please park only on gravel and do not drive on the lawn near the meadow. If there are more than two vehicles in your party, please park up the hill in the gravel near the large, 4-car garage. LIMIT of 4 VEHICLES per reservation, unless organized in advance with us. There are four easy-closing gates in the fence, that are generally left open for wildlife passage. We will make every effort to have the gates closed before you arrive, but know that you're responsible for seeing that all 4 gates are closed before you unleash your pups. If you bring kids, you're also responsible for keeping them in the gates :D We hope you visit soon and come back often!
