55My dogs love this spot! Running is a priority for one of them and he has so much room. Every time I come here there are new flowers in the field to entertain myself. My pack couldn't be happier with this sniffspot
55Water level pretty low today but still fun lay into to cool off after playing in the field. I love the path to get to the river. Very whimsical
55Great place to explore! Well kept & clear directions. Thanks for sharing your yard!!
55Not the best fit for reactive dogs. Beautiful property.
55Super easy to get to in LaCenter! The horses were super cute and ignored us completely😁. Had a fun walk down to the creek then played in the field. Beautiful spot!
45I will book again after the fields have been cut :) Never made it to the creek. Wasn’t exactly sure of the trail. I keep my pups on long leads and it looked like they would get tangled if we bushwhacked. Looking forward to Aug or Sept when fields are harvested.
55Our guy had so much fun exploring the creek and hay field. Perfect for a hot day!
55Always great!
55Brady’s favorite spot by far!
55Gorgeous spot. A lot of room to run around and explore!

My dog and I compete in a variety of sports including rally, barn hunt, and dock diving. This land is in the process of becoming a dog sport training and event center!

Nature in the City Private Dog Park

Nature in the City is a unique Private Dog Park that is 1 1/2 acres of beautiful natural land with varied landscapes. Step out of the city and into our natural setting that features different areas including 2 grassy fields perfect for fetch w/discs, ropes, or toys, (balls are not best here due to all of the surrounding bushes), a couple of forested areas, a tall grassy wetland-like area, several nature trails for hiking adventures where your dog(s) can explore, run & feel free, and a healthy little creek that’s a hit with the pups. They can wade, cool off, and drink from the natural water. Your dogs will have so many different sniffing and secure off-leash exploring opportunities here! Our spot is so much more than just a fenced field! The area is diverse and so much fun for your dog(s)! This is a great spot to work on recall. There are a couple areas on the trails that are a little steep, there’s a trail where you have to walk on logs 🪵, and the little creek has to be stepped over, so people with limited mobility may have issues in these areas of the spot. There are plenty of spaces and trails that are suitable for all abilities. If you’re looking for a basic fenced field to play chuck-it then this probably isn’t your spot. We are continually working on our property, so every time you visit it will have more open space, more trails, and the blackberry bushes will be trimmed back. We provide a rain/sun shelter with 4 foldable chairs and lots of supplies including dog toys & balls, poop bags, hand sanitizer, natural bug spray, wipes, hand towels, first aid kit, and a cornhole yard game. Located outside are 2 zero-gravity reclining chairs, a kids size picnic table, and fresh drinking water for your pups. There are open areas with sun ☀️, and there is shade all day due to many large trees. Our property is fully secure with 5 to 6 ft fencing. We walk the fence line regularly and check to make sure it’s secure. We are located close-in on the Westside of Vancouver one mile from I-5 on 78th Street in West Hazel Dell near Felida. *It gets muddy in areas when it has been wet/raining outside. Come prepared so you enjoy your visit. **We just added 6 solar flood lights in the main field area for those of you who need to visit after dark. They light up the entryway, main field, and the shelter. Thank you!
