Fencing details: The property is now fully fenced! One of our guests pointed out an area behind some shrubbery that had a gap in the fencing. We fixed that with some lattice, so there’s no longer any gaps. We look forward to hosting you!

Description

Hi! My husband and I have a home on a third of acre on a small quiet cul-de-sac in the hills of La Mesa. The backyard is very large and is terraced, so it’s great for exercising dogs or sniffing around (lots of great smells). There are also many fruit trees you are welcome to (orange, grapefruit, lime, lemon, and fig). We also have a pergola with 4 chairs and a fire pit. Lots of shade is provided by our pecan and jacaranda trees most of the year. The backyard ground is a mixture of brick pavers, gravel, and mulch. We have several hoses throughout the yard that you’re welcome to use as much as you want. There is an empty koi pond that can be used as a splash pool for dogs too with our hoses. We also have outdoor electrical outlets and strong WiFi if needed. It’s a hillside home so there are great views of Mt. Helix and even the ocean on clear days. It’s a wonderful quiet place to relax and enjoy the outdoors!

Hazards

There are gravel steps and a gravel walkway in some parts of the yard. Please watch your footing in these areas, as the gravel is loose. There are wild rabbits in the area, and very rarely they venture into our yard. Although this is extremely rare during Sniffspot hours, if your dog is highly reactive to rabbits, this spot may not be a good fit for you.

Release The Leash!

We recently purchased our home and I would love to share my backyard with your pups to help get the zoomies out or to just bask in the sun! Our yard provides a mixture of terrain including turf, grass, DG, mulch & rocks! Along with lots of space for play, you have the ability to add on our top deck which includes a refreshing pool & a hill the pups love to run up! If you’d like to wait for the heat to cool off, we have plenty of lights for nighttime fun to help the pups get a great night sleep 🌙 Please let me know if you have any questions or requests!

	Only one booking is allowed at a time at any spot and there is an enforced 30 min buffer between all bookings to ensure dogs in separate bookings do not meet.
	This spot is set for Booking, which means you will be instantly confirmed for any booking you request. You will receive the address and access instruction immediately following booking.
