Sylvan Glen Paw Park To encourage safety and a positive environment for dogs and patrons please follow the rules 1. Dogs must display a valid license and up-to-date rabies vaccinations. 2. Dog owners are responsible for any injuries or damage caused by their dogs. 3. Dogs must be leashed when entering/exiting dog park social area. 4. Dog owners must carry a leash and have dog within view and voice control. 5. Dogs in heat, aggressive dogs, and puppies under (4) months are prohibited. 6. Dogs must be removed from the dog park at the first sign of aggression towards a person or dog. 7. No more than (3) dogs per person. 8. No choke, prong, pinch, or spike collars allowed in the dog park. 9. All holes dug must be filled immediately. 10.Business use of the park by professional trainers is strictly prohibited. 11.Dog owners must immediately clean up after their dog and dispose of waste in proper receptacles. 12.No smoking, alcohol, glass containers or food (people/animal) allowed in the dog park. 13.Children under 15 years of age must be closely supervised by an adult. 14.All state and local laws apply. Report all emergencies to the Yorktown Police Department at 911 or 914-962-4141.

Nestled between the Bronx River Parkway and Hutchinson River Parkway in Scarsdale, this private puppy palace is an ideally located quarter acre, fully fenced and gated private dog park, and is the perfect location for you and your fur baby. Aside from being a dog park for our pups, those we fostered, and those we dogsit, this yard has also been used for training for Guiding Eyes for the Blind dogs. Ever since my family moved here in the late 1980s we have never treated the yard with pesticide or herbicide, we don't allow any poisonous plants, and we've kept this yard fully fenced (no gaps) and gated with plenty of privacy hedges. Water, toys, treats, and towel service included. There's ample free parking on the street. There is a deck and a patio for the humans and two pools, a circuly sprinkler system you can control, agility equipment, and toys for the pups. None of my next door neighbors or bordering neighbors have dogs or outside pets. This is a very quiet and safe residential neighborhood next to New York City. I love dogs and I plan to follow my Mom's dream of starting a dog sanctuary. I started volunteering at shelters and dogsitting and walking at 16 over 25 years ago. More recently I've become a dog trainer and am increasing my skills at veterinary assistance. My resume also includes corporate pet health in both New York and Los Angeles. Our spot is located right across the road from the beautiful Chadwick Lake in Newburgh! We have 1/4 acre fenced in backyard with regularly trimmed grass. About half of the yard is flat and the other half is on a hill. The hill is great for tiring out your pup! It backs up to a wooded area. There is a deck and a patio with furniture and umbrellas. We provide dog toys that are sanitized between visits. Please BYO water and bowl/container. Hope to have you for a visit soon!
