Beautiful secluded 40 acre piece of vacant forested land, with a creek that winds thru the length of the property. There is a well maintained gravel hiking road the stretches the length of the property and is approx a 3/4 of a mile long and crosses the Creek. There are Hiking trails run along both sides of the gravel road, with several additional hiking trails that cross and run along the creek and meander thru the woods.

Come enjoy the outdoors with beautiful views, open areas, forest trails, graveled roads, and a creek. You will park at our xmas tree parking lot where you will start your adventure. There are 2 miles of graveled roads and 6 miles of trails to hike, along with a creek that runs thru the property. You will have cell phone service at the Christmas tree lot area where you will park, but limited cell phone service if you decide to hike around. There are seats at the xmas tree lot, along with water and a garbage can 🐶. We’re reinforcing fencing with chicken wire. Neighbours to left (facing house) have no dog, neighbours to right have a medium sized dog who can be vocal but is rarely outside. We are in the process of setting up a barrier so fence fighting can be avoided - we have never had this happen but like to be cautious. This is in a residential neighbourhood so keep that in mind. Nature in the City is a unique Private Dog Park that is 1 1/2 acres of beautiful natural land with varied landscapes. Step out of the city and into our natural setting that features different areas including 2 grassy fields perfect for fetch w/discs, ropes, or toys, (balls are not best here due to all of the surrounding bushes), a couple of forested areas, several nature trails for hiking adventures, and a wetland-like area with a healthy little creek that’s a hit with the pups. They can wade, cool off, and drink from the natural water. Your dogs will have so many different sniffing and secure off-leash exploring opportunities here! Our spot is so much more than just a fenced field! The area is diverse and so much fun for your dog(s)! This is a great spot to work on recall. There are a couple areas on the trails that are a little steep, there’s a trail where you have to walk over logs 🪵, and the little creek has to be stepped over in places, so people with limited mobility may have issues in these areas of the spot. There are two bridges over the creek, and we will be adding one more bridge at the far west end of the spot soon. There are plenty of spaces and trails that are suitable for all abilities. If you’re looking for a basic fenced field to play chuck-it then this probably isn’t your spot. We are continually working on our property, so every time you visit you will see improvements! We provide a rain/sun shelter with 4 foldable chairs (message us in advance if you need more chairs and we’ll put them out for you), and lots of supplies including dog toys & balls, poop bags, hand sanitizer, natural bug spray, sunscreen, wipes, hand towels, first aid kit, and a cornhole yard game. We also provide snacks and beverages for humans and doggos! Located outside are 2 zero-gravity reclining chairs, a kids size picnic table, and fresh drinking water for your pups. There are open areas with sun ☀️, and there is shade all day due to many large trees. Our property is VERY secure with 5 to 6 ft fencing. We walk the fence line regularly and check to make sure it’s secure. We are located close-in on the Westside of Vancouver one mile from I-5 on 78th Street in West Hazel Dell near Felida. *It gets muddy in areas when it has been wet/raining outside. We have wood chips along trails and in muddy areas which help a lot! Come prepared so you enjoy your visit. **We recently added 6 solar flood lights in the main field area for those of you who visit after dark. They provide subtle light at the entryway, main field, and the shelter for about 4-5 hrs after it gets dark outside. If you you want to explore the trails after dark we recommend putting a collar light on your dog(s), and that you bring headlamps and flashlights 🔦. ***We recently added a small bridge over the middle section of the creek! Just opened! Gate to enter on Bull Mountain Rd, on the northwest side of the property. We have a fun cattle gate that slides open. Duck your head and walk on up a wooden boardwalk to the backside of our yard. The fenced in area includes all of the backyard up to the landscaped area next to the house. Feel free to roam and run across the back section. This is stick-topia. A stick for every pup that wants one. Feel free to take one home with you We will compost the dog waste, please just scoop up the poo with the provided shovel and add to the bucket. We will take it from there. There's a swing for humans, please enjoy. I am working on building a nice little shelter, but for now enjoy the cover the beautiful Douglas fir trees provide.

Sapphire Point is an unfenced, private, 10 acres with excellent mountain views, hiking trails, and seasonal creek. This location provides your pup, and you, access to uninterrupted forest land with expansive mountain views and many fun new smells. The three primary trails are marked with pink ribbons and the property perimeter is marked with white ribbons for easy navigation. Hiking the slopes can be a workout for us humans, so let yourself rest at the different benches while your pup plays. You're invited to pack a little snack and make it part of your adventure. Our SS is a wide open space where your dog can run and play. Please DO NOT bring an unvaccinated dog to our SS. PLEASE keep an eye on your dog(s), not your phone... Unfortunately we have found missed messes, so please monitor your doggos. if you forget bags. we have extra in the "milk box" next to the porch steps, and feel free to use any toys you find in the SS. Absolutely no digging is allowed. Please do not allow your dog to dig holes. Private areas: the house including the porch, and wrap around garden. Water is provided* 1- the hose/hydrant near the gate. (Located to the left of the gate as you enter!) 2- green bowl at top of driveway *unless freezing weather Please the area east of the driveway and behind the house and have a good time exploring and playing! There are bunnies, cats and squirrels on the property so we ask that you please restrain your dog for the first 30 seconds or so when entering the property to give those animals a chance to react to the presence of a new animal. Allowing your dog to chase cats or wander up onto the house's porch are not allowed. Leave any hose running if found that way. Residents of the home may come and go during your reservation. Conveniently located 2 minutes off of I-205 and 7 min off of I-5! This is a fully private space, separated from the residence yard. Fully fenced & recently added 360° privacy screen. The property is a flat field, with short grass, which makes for the perfect space for your dog(s) to run to their hearts desire! This is also an ideal spot for training, especially disengage/reengage recall. You can keep an eye on your pups from all areas. There is privacy from the main residence and the road. Please read spot specific rules when booking. **If you are bringing a foster dog, feel free to reach out to me to receive a discount code! **If you would like to book a reservation that exceeds an hour, or book for a larger party of dogs, feel free to message me and I will open the calendar up to allow you to do so! ** The table and umbrella are mainly to provide shade in the summer, but there won’t typically be dry seating when it is raining, although I do my best to dry it off between the rain. I would still advise to bring an umbrella when there is a chance of rain if you prefer to stay dry.
