35Very beautiful property and grass is well maintained. The only reason I’m giving a lower rating is because I could see and hear their dog. The listing is marked as having no other dogs around, but the description stated they have a dog. Which is fine, but I shouldn’t be able to hear or see your dog if you marked it as no. The reason I use Sniffspot is because my dog is dog reactive, so this was discouraging.
55Great property for a nice stroll with your dog! Well kept yard, thanks for sharing your place!
35We enjoyed our walk around the space. Thank you
35Beautiful acreage property with rows of lavender carefully maintained. We reserved a last minute spot and it caused confusion with access, so we recommend reserving with plenty of advance notice. Still very appreciative to have the Sniffspot available.
55Beautiful spot! The shady trail around the perimeter of the property was really nice for for the warm weather this morning. Dogs had a lovely time exploring.
55The property was easy to find, easy to park on, and beautiful for our dogs! They loved walking between rows of lavender and there was a well cleared perimeter walking path for them to get their sniffies out. Plenty of space for both playing fetch as well as having pup adventures. There is some space on the property that’s under construction so be careful to keep your dogs out of that but we parked over there so the dogs avoided it (to avoid having to get back into the car lol). Fantastic experience and we would love to visit again!
55Loved this spot! Great little trail to walk around & plenty of room to throw the ball. Look forward to coming back!
55Beautiful and secluded. We loved it. Super easy to find and access
55Beautiful location, quiet and peaceful. Brady had a blast
55Beautiful property! It is open on all sides and we saw several wild animals (deer, birds, bunnies), so important to have a good recall for your pup. Hoping we can come back when the lavender is in bloom.

Nature in the City Private Dog Park

Nature in the City is a unique Private Dog Park that is 1 1/2 acres of beautiful natural land with varied landscapes. Step out of the city and into our natural setting that features different areas including 2 grassy fields perfect for fetch w/discs, ropes, or toys, (balls are not best here due to all of the surrounding bushes), a couple of forested areas, a tall grassy wetland-like area, several nature trails for hiking adventures where your dog(s) can explore, run & feel free, and a healthy little creek that’s a hit with the pups. They can wade, cool off, and drink from the natural water. Your dogs will have so many different sniffing and secure off-leash exploring opportunities here! Our spot is so much more than just a fenced field! The area is diverse and so much fun for your dog(s)! This is a great spot to work on recall. There are a couple areas on the trails that are a little steep, there’s a trail where you have to walk on logs 🪵, and the little creek has to be stepped over, so people with limited mobility may have issues in these areas of the spot. There are plenty of spaces and trails that are suitable for all abilities. If you’re looking for a basic fenced field to play chuck-it then this probably isn’t your spot. We are continually working on our property, so every time you visit it will have more open space, more trails, and the blackberry bushes will be trimmed back. We provide a rain/sun shelter with 4 foldable chairs and lots of supplies including dog toys & balls, poop bags, hand sanitizer, natural bug spray, wipes, hand towels, first aid kit, and a cornhole yard game. Located outside are 2 zero-gravity reclining chairs, a kids size picnic table, and fresh drinking water for your pups. There are open areas with sun ☀️, and there is shade all day due to many large trees. Our property is fully secure with 5 to 6 ft fencing. We walk the fence line regularly and check to make sure it’s secure. We are located close-in on the Westside of Vancouver one mile from I-5 on 78th Street in West Hazel Dell near Felida. *It gets muddy in areas when it has been wet/raining outside. Come prepared so you enjoy your visit. **We just added 6 solar flood lights in the main field area for those of you who need to visit after dark. They light up the entryway, main field, and the shelter. Thank you!
