55Easy to get to, easy access, love the open field so we can throw the ball as far as we want and it won’t get lost. My dog loves it! So far we’ve only seen a cat along the fence. Don’t forget to bring water for your pup!
55This is such a magical wide open spot. Fully fenced, clean, tennis balls and a chuck it station. Our doggie loved it, and we met our dog trainer and their dog for a socialization training in this great sniff spot! When leaving we heard a magical owl “woo-hoo-hoo!”
55I’m very excited to have found a sniff spot so close to the fairgrounds for a before agility run or after conformation decompression. Safe secure no mud wonderful spot
55This was my first time visiting a sniffspot and I was a little nervous. However, the clear communication ahead of our visit was so helpful and my dog left very tired and happy. Thank you for sharing your space! 😊
55Tons of ball and space for your pups to run! I really like that we park in the open field so I can just open the car door and let them run!
55Wonderful spot! Cute barn and photo op, a whole bucket of tennis balls and a chucker! Perfect open space for fetch. Fences and gates all sturdy and secure.
55Great spot, convenient! It was nicely kept, very clean with lots of tennis balls and a chuck it stick, as well as a great barn photo op set up! Even though it is scaled back for winter, it still felt quite spacious.
55Great place to let the dogs run. Great that there are places to sit and watch the dogs play. Very easy to find with secure fencing.
55Quiet and peaceful spot, easy to find and perfect for fetch
55A cute and fun spot! Definitely ripe for a twisted ankle or sprained knee (for both humans and doggos!) but the barn was very nice to snap some pictures! We're excited to come back in warmer weather when the entire space is open! Thank you for sharing your spot!

Nature in the City Private Dog Park

Nature in the City is a unique Private Dog Park that is 1 1/2 acres of beautiful natural land with varied landscapes. Step out of the city and into our natural setting that features different areas including 2 grassy fields perfect for fetch w/discs, ropes, or toys, (balls are not best here due to all of the surrounding bushes), a couple of forested areas, a tall grassy wetland-like area, several nature trails for hiking adventures where your dog(s) can explore, run & feel free, and a healthy little creek that’s a hit with the pups. They can wade, cool off, and drink from the natural water. Your dogs will have so many different sniffing and secure off-leash exploring opportunities here! Our spot is so much more than just a fenced field! The area is diverse and so much fun for your dog(s)! This is a great spot to work on recall. There are a couple areas on the trails that are a little steep, there’s a trail where you have to walk on logs 🪵, and the little creek has to be stepped over, so people with limited mobility may have issues in these areas of the spot. There are plenty of spaces and trails that are suitable for all abilities. If you’re looking for a basic fenced field to play chuck-it then this probably isn’t your spot. We are continually working on our property, so every time you visit it will have more open space, more trails, and the blackberry bushes will be trimmed back. We provide a rain/sun shelter with 4 foldable chairs and lots of supplies including dog toys & balls, poop bags, hand sanitizer, natural bug spray, wipes, hand towels, first aid kit, and a cornhole yard game. Located outside are 2 zero-gravity reclining chairs, a kids size picnic table, and fresh drinking water for your pups. There are open areas with sun ☀️, and there is shade all day due to many large trees. Our property is fully secure with 5 to 6 ft fencing. We walk the fence line regularly and check to make sure it’s secure. We are located close-in on the Westside of Vancouver one mile from I-5 on 78th Street in West Hazel Dell near Felida. *It gets muddy in areas when it has been wet/raining outside. Come prepared so you enjoy your visit. **We just added 6 solar flood lights in the main field area for those of you who need to visit after dark. They light up the entryway, main field, and the shelter. Thank you!
