40 acres of fields, prairie, and creek. Easy access and parking. Trails around the property. Minimal traffic on the roads nearby. Garbage pail, tote with towels, bug spray, and sanitizer, water hose, bucket, picnic table, and chairs are available on the premises. Creek area extends from the southern road to the northern property fence line. Please look at Google maps/satellite for a better reference (our property is a large square that boarders 2 roads).
Rock Creek Dog Park is a 5 acre park located just outside of Davis Illinois and is a very quiet, tranquil and peaceful place surrounded by corn fields. Sit in the shade and enjoy a good book while your dog gets the exercise she needs, or get a good hike in for yourself as well. If your dog loves water or needs to cool off, a small creek runs through the park. Parking area provided.
Enjoy our little piece of the country with nearly 1 acre of fully fenced in fun for your dog! This private setting offers peaceful playtime and beautiful country views. ***Update: the gates now have taller wire mesh for the Houdini pups! ***
This space is for my primary business doggie daycare- after hours use on weeknights & all day Saturday and Sunday times are available.
1 acre is fully fenced. Large 3+ field with walking path around. We have free range chickens but they are not in the fenced backyard. We have large shade trees and places to sit.
Fully fenced 1 acre. Fenced in half as well so roughly.5 acres on each side. Porta Potty with hand sanitizer available for use and one of the outbuildings has electricity available for an outlet. Chairs and table with umbrella. Beautiful view and my pets love chasing after cars in an open space. Plenty of shade!
The spot is a fenced horse pasture. (Horses will be locked near barn during your visit) the front pasture has woven wire fencing, and a second pasture has electric tape fencing (unplugged for your visit) you have access to both fields.
Lazy Bones Acres offers 5 acres of wooded hiking trails for you and your furry companion to enjoy. Pack a lunch to enjoy on one of our picnic tables along the way or simply take in the peacefulness of the forest and wildlife. Listen to the squirrels chase each other in the tree tops, the woodpeckers pecking away in a nearby tree, or the geese honking at a nearby pond. Wildlife that are commonly seen on visits include deer, rabbits, wild turkeys, chipmunks, a beautiful array of wild birds, and much more. *Our terrain is uneven as it goes through woods. If you have trouble with balance or walking, please reconsider your visit to our property for your safety. Trails are kept clear, but raspberry and blackberry bushes present thorns, please use caution with these prickers. ** Our spot is fully fenced, however if your dog is not command trained we do not recommend letting them off leash. Dogs have a natural instinct to chase the rabbits and squirrels we have. PALS park, is a space we have curated for our three dogs, Penelope (20 lb., (F) Boston Terrier), Arthur, and Lewis (55-70 lb., (M) Cattle Dog mixes and biological brothers). Arthur and Lewis “do not play well with others” (they're herding dogs and tend to herd other dogs). Penelope is smaller and getting older, so she gets bullied at dog parks. We needed an open space with fencing, a relatively quiet area, yet far enough away from residential areas because our dogs bark a bit more than average and we don't want to be a bother to our neighbors. We realized this is the need for many dogs and dog parents (like us), and those dogs are not always afforded the ability to go to a dog park and be off leash, and be in a stress-free environment. That’s why we offer our space, a place we have made exclusively to let our dogs and YOURS be the very best version of themselves. Dogs deserve to be dogs, and that’s our aim at PALS Park. **At the park we do our very best to offer a 5 star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ experience. We are always looking for ways to improve the park, for you and your dogs. With constructive, positive, and a 5 star review, we will be better equipped to meet your needs. Also, leaving ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ would be pretty darn PAWSOME! **If there is something about your visit that isn’t worthy of a 5 star review, please message me and I can make it right. *We also have a (M) grey and white cat named Stumpy. He is indoors 75% of the time and makes himself VERY scarce when new people/cars are around. *There is ample parking and the driveway will be cleared of snow in the winter months. If there is a massive snowfall we will do our best to make a path. *There is a horse shelter in the park (we are slowly turning into the guest space). That’s where you will find several pooper scoopers with a bucket for poops without poop bags, a poop bag station, and a few mobile poop bag holders. There is a trash can for bagged poo and trash. We have set out some people chairs and an elevated dog bed. There is an always refreshed bucket of water at big pine tree by the shelter. And who can forget the toys? We have two deck boxes full of toys. A larger one near the house as well as a smaller one in the shelter. Toys can be put back in either one. **PROPER POOP DISPOSAL PROCEDURE** #2 can be: -pitched over the fence (bagless) -put into the trash can (if bagged) Karmic Poop Pick Up - we have a ton of space to play, so the odds of missing a poo now and then are high, we totally get it. See a poop? Pick it up (with a provided poop bag) and all day long you'll have good luck! We have a 700 gallon stock tank pool (not open November - April) just for the dogs. We will provide some towels for pool use and for general wet weather, because we know a wet dog in a car is not fun. There is a laundry basket by the flag pole where you can put the dirty towels. For human safety, please try to stay off the patio/porch near the home as it’s slippery when wet. Those areas will marked with a yellow plastic chain or closed off with black gates. If the dogs make it up there it isn’t a big deal, just be careful retrieving them.
