55This is a wonderful spot for dogs to run, play and explore. It was particularly great for my Akita who had so much space to run and play. It is fully fenced and I had no worries about my 100lb dog getting out. There's also play pools and lots of toys. It was a terrific time and we will definitely go back!
55Nice open hilly space. A shaded picnic table, chairs, a variety of toys and water were extras that made it feel very welcoming. Our dog and our family enjoyed running around. We will be back again I'm sure.
55Great space! So quiet. My dogs loved this space so much.
55My girls had so much fun! What a great spot.
55Highly recommend. Lots of space to run and play! We came here with three large dogs and they had a lot of fun. Two hours was the perfect amount of time for us. Fresh water is provided for the dogs and they also have a convenient shaded sitting area to have lunch. Would go back!
55Great spacious spot, my dog had plenty of fun.
55Great hosts. Great property. Everything you need for a fun visit- easy parking, seating for humans, dog toys, drinking water, fully fenced. We will be back!
55Beautiful spot!! Our doggies were very happy!
55Love this spot! Different terrains, shade, seating, and lots of interesting things to sniff. A well thought out park for people and pups!
55Kristie was a great host, very responsive and provided great details to help us with our first visit. The property was spacious & secure. After the rains, the hills were bright green and the sun was amazing coming from the foggy coast. Worth the drive. The dogs keep jumping into the wadding pools to cool down after their runs across the field. We will return!

My husband and I have lived in Almaden valley for several years now. We have a small ranch and also work with special needs rescue pups. So happy to be here for pups and their people, life is fleeting, lets all enjoy!

Private 2 Acre Forest Swimming Hole In Rural Woodside

This is a private, undeveloped, forested spot. If you are interested in this spot, you and your dog should be up for a mini adventure. This spot is not a manicured, backyard park. It is wild and beautiful, and a rare find in this area. THERE IS NO TRASH SERVICE AT THIS FOREST LOCATION. PACK EVERYTHING OUT WITH YOU, INCLUDING DOG POOP BAGGIES. The trail starts at the west (downhill) end of the parking spot, and winds downhill to the creek (there are a couple of switchbacks). The trail from the parking area to the creek is less than 5 minutes long. At the bottom of the trail, is a deck. Beyond the deck is a year-round creek with a swimming hole. There are fish, frogs, newts, and crawdads. All wildlife is protected, so please don't catch or remove them. You may walk up and down along the creek exploring, as long as you turn around if you see a waterfall downstream or a house in the distance. The trail that leads downhill to the creek is intermediate, not for beginners or flip-flops. There should be no poison oak or ticks on the trail, but if you venture off the trail, you may encounter poison oak or ticks. There are blackberry bushes to the sides of the trail that resemble poison oak. There should be no foxtails. You may see wild animals. As a wild spot, you may encounter typical hazards that are present in most local forest trails, such as wildlife, water, and trip-and-fall hazards. This is a private spot, and there should be no other people or dogs during your booking. If you see someone during your booking, please let us know as soon as possible, so that we can take steps to prevent them from trespassing again. There is no lighting at this spot, so if you book before sunrise or after sunset, please bring a headlamp or flashlight. There is no trash collection service at this location, so please pack out any trash. Thank you!
