55Big fenced in yard with, a few areas to sit if you would like to, water bowls filled with fresh water. Host is extremely attentive to details and is easy to reach if you have any questions.
55Huge fenced in yard, multiple water bowls throughout, poop bags and can for trash. Very quiet and serene.
55We had a wonderful experienced! The area is well maintained, Haley puts out fresh water for the dogs in three different spots, the instructions to get there were super clear, and our dog had a blast in a safe and enclosed space. The space is exactly as described. We will be back very soon. Thank you Haley!
55Yard is spacious and fully fenced in. Multiple water bowls throughout the space. Host is extremely considerate and gets back to you quickly with any questions.
55Visiting Haley’s place is always an enjoyable experience. Everything is clearly marked, even down to parking & Haley is such a sweet and communicative host. It’s easily my pup and I’d favorite sniff spot!
55Haley is very accommodating and responds quickly when you need to reach out to her. There is always fresh water out, poop bags and balls to play with.
55The pups loved it!
55Great place to let the dogs chase each other around! Easy access and friendly owner. We will be back!
55This space is always pleasant and peaceful. The accommodations are perfect.
55All 6 dogs have a wonderful time every time we come here. Haley is very accommodating and welcoming. The spot has plenty of room for them to run and play and always has plenty of fresh water so they have access all over the yard. Do beware of foxtails as she mentions in the description, they are everywhere and unfortunately one of my dogs got one stuck in her nose during this visit and I am currently on the waitlist to have her seen at the emergency vet. This is of no fault to Haley, she has plenty of warnings about the foxtails, just beware when you bring your dogs here of the risks.

Description

Dry season advisory: we are currently operating on a members-only basis during the dry season. We will remain open to regular members to avoid disruption to their routines but we are cutting back on new visitors for the time being. Thank you for your understanding and hope to see you next season! --------- Our yard is fully fenced with tons to sniff, beautiful views, and several seating areas to sit and watch your dogs roam. Water bowls, poop bags, tennis balls, ChuckIt, hand sanitizer, and poop scooper are provided by the entrances. ---- Due to several recent guests NOT reading our spot details or warnings, I'd like to reiterate that there are MANY foxtails and burs in the yard and dogs with long/curly coats should avoid booking. We do our best to set accurate expectations up front so you can make an informed decision on whether or not to book. Please look through our photos and read our spot details carefully before your first visit so you know what to expect and have a great time! ------- BOOKING: Members can book up to 2 weeks in advance. Non-members can book up to 7 days in advance. Sundays are usually blocked off for yard work and personal use. -------- You'll receive an automated welcome message with directions, helpful tips, etc 2 hours before your booking starts.

Hazards

#1. CAUTION: foxtails, burs, and seed pods are everywhere during the dry season (usually June - October). Dogs with long hair/curly coats should avoid this spot to prevent any debris getting caught in their fur. Book according to your comfort level with this potential hazard. Do a foxtail check (ears, nose, toes) after visits. #2. Uneven terrain and gopher holes in some areas; please watch your step. #3. Coyotes have been sighted in the area and even out yard occasionally. Owners with very small dogs should exercise caution.

I'm a high school teacher, graphic designer, pet sitter, and dog lover! We have 3 hilarious dogs and more yard than they can use. We are so fortunate to have this space and want to share it with others so dogs can stretch their legs safely.

The Sniffspot Field is a 3 acre fully fenced area that you and your dog will have unsupervised access to for the time that you have booked. There is fresh filtered (RO) water and access to toys in this area at all times in addition to other listed amenities. The entire farm is 36 fenced acres. For anyone interested, I will gladly provide supervised walks around the entire property for additional enrichment at no additional cost. Palmhill is a working organic farm. There may be an occasional worker sighting, but absolutely no reason for any employee to ever interact with a guest or their dogs. My interests lie in offering an affordable, large, safe, clean, offleash venue for guests and their canine companions. Thanks to an awesome group of guests who have been with us since first opening the venue, this has been a very rewarding experience. There has been, however, a few guests who have not been doing a very good job of cleaning up after their own dogs which makes it very unpleasant for the guests who come in to the venue next. I have many visitors who pick up dog droppings and don't say a word, and return toys and balls to the recepticles, but they shouldn't have to! I actually had a guest say, "Oh, I thought you had people to do that!" No, everyone is responsible for cleaning up after themselves before they leave. That's how we keep the venue tidy and affordable! I don't think that's unreasonable. I've had to post a list of reminders at the venue, thank you, Michele, which I feel terrible about because they're not relevant for the MAJOROTY of Palmhill's guests. It's just a handful of newer guests who aren't being very team friendly. I've met some awesome people and even more so awesome dogs, but sorry to say, if you don't play fair, you will be asked not to come back to this venue. 🐾❤️🐾
