55Lots of flat space to run!
55My dog had a really good time. She was so interested in all the fun scents and different little areas that she spent most of the time. Sniffing around. Plenty of room for her to get out and run around and a lot of cool things for her to explore. We'll be back
55This was our first Sniffspot. My two dogs loved being able to run more freely than they can in my small yard.
55Clean and fun place to let your dog run around and play fetch.
55Such a great visit and the dogs loved all the room to run around!
55A total of 3 Small areas for the dogs to investigate. The fencing is not secure for very small dogs. Ducks and alpaca in view, which was fine as there are 2 fences between the dogs and the critters. Overall a nice place. Not as open as I'd hoped, but we made it work.
55I loved that the fence was nice and high with privacy screens! The pup I’m dog sitting is reactive, but needs to stretch her legs to get the penned up energy out. This was perfect.
55Clean, friendly, and our dog loved running around. Fenced well. Will come back
55This was my very first booking and it was wonderful. Lisa was so friendly and helpful. The property has a little bit of everything- heavy tree cover, vegetation and leaves to scamper through, wide open spaces to use the Chuck-it. Lisa even sells fresh eggs and organic jam! Bruno did NOT want to leave, even though it was pouring rain. He had so much fun, he pouted in the back seat the whole way home. We will definitely go back! Such a great first experience!
55The space was large and my two doggies had such a good time! Host was responsive and welcoming.

Description

A portion of a small Alpaca farm for you and your best friend(s) to enjoy. Come and enjoy the new, large rain shelter. At the end of a dead end street. Second to last house on the left. Quiet and private except the rooster serenade. Please note that if you come more than 10 minutes early, you may have to wait. I always do a poop patrol just before any guest arrival. Please close gates behind you when you leave. I do usually have farm fresh eggs available. $5 to $7. Cash only. Lots of organic, low sugar, peach and plum jam from trees right here on the property. Feel free to knock on the front door and ask. Thank you.

Nature in the City Private Dog Park

Nature in the City is a unique Private Dog Park that is 1 1/2 acres of beautiful natural land with varied landscapes. Step out of the city and into our natural setting that features different areas including 2 grassy fields perfect for fetch w/discs, ropes, or toys, (balls are not best here due to all of the surrounding bushes), a couple of forested areas, a tall grassy wetland-like area, several nature trails for hiking adventures where your dog(s) can explore, run & feel free, and a healthy little creek that’s a hit with the pups. They can wade, cool off, and drink from the natural water. Your dogs will have so many different sniffing and secure off-leash exploring opportunities here! Our spot is so much more than just a fenced field! The area is diverse and so much fun for your dog(s)! This is a great spot to work on recall. There are a couple areas on the trails that are a little steep, there’s a trail where you have to walk on logs 🪵, and the little creek has to be stepped over, so people with limited mobility may have issues in these areas of the spot. There are plenty of spaces and trails that are suitable for all abilities. If you’re looking for a basic fenced field to play chuck-it then this probably isn’t your spot. We are continually working on our property, so every time you visit it will have more open space, more trails, and the blackberry bushes will be trimmed back. We provide a rain/sun shelter with 4 foldable chairs and lots of supplies including dog toys & balls, poop bags, hand sanitizer, natural bug spray, wipes, hand towels, first aid kit, and a cornhole yard game. Located outside are 2 zero-gravity reclining chairs, a kids size picnic table, and fresh drinking water for your pups. There are open areas with sun ☀️, and there is shade all day due to many large trees. Our property is fully secure with 5 to 6 ft fencing. We walk the fence line regularly and check to make sure it’s secure. We are located close-in on the Westside of Vancouver one mile from I-5 on 78th Street in West Hazel Dell near Felida. *It gets muddy in areas when it has been wet/raining outside. We have recently put down wood chips along trails and in muddy areas which help a lot! Come prepared so you enjoy your visit. **We just added 6 solar flood lights in the main field area for those of you who need to visit after dark. They light up the entryway, main field, and the shelter for about 4-5 hrs after it gets dark outside. Thank you!
