55K-9 Granny is by far the best sniff spot for my dogs' needs. And the port-a-potty is a wonderful convenience!
55Great spot! Large open area, great for running. Very secure so no escaping
55I love coming to k9 Grammys, and my dog does too. It's the biggest and most affordable sniffspot in town that has the affordable benefit of being securely fenced (if your dog is like mine and will easily find any fence opening). The pasture provides ample room for doggy zoomies. The porta potty is a generous addition and the surroundings are quite beautiful and peaceful. I'm grateful to have access to this place!
55Our favorite place to run!!
55We had fun with our pup!
55Great place for the dogs to run and play!
55I'm so glad we were introduced to this Sniffspot! In our first 2 visits, my pup has finally had the freedom to run around and wear herself out with other like-minded pups in a secure, safe, clearly dog-centric spot. There's grass for running and rolling, all kinds of toys for chasing, little inclines for trudging, and then the large area to walk on-leash to calm down a bit before heading home. And super easy to find and access. Thank you k9 Grammy!
55Such a big property and gave my pup lots of area to roam, sniff, and play! I brought my own toys for the day but there’s a nice basket full of toys on the property if you forgot yours! Definitely recommend
55our favorite spot :)
55Always a pleasure for me, Ruby and Rooster. A peaceful place.

this is a rural area. occasionally people will walk by or ride bicycles on the road, but there is a large ditch between the dog's fenced area and the road. i may occasionally go into my backyard, but will not interact with the visiting dogs or their handlers

Description

WEATHER ALERT: If you are checking the weather online check the Ferndale (98248) weather. The Bellingham weather stops at the Smith Road. My prevailing wind is from the South BUT I do get the cold NE wind from Canada. NOTE: This is an acreage area which formerly held dog events; barn hunt, earth dog, carting, rally, obedience, tracking and nose work. The off leash area was set up for the dogs to have a place to run and play safely away from the other dogs when not working. This is all sandy loam so no standing water even when it rains. There is a water faucet down by the smaller barn (west side). You are welcome to fill your dog's bowls. Just be sure you turn the water off after. I have put some folding chairs just inside the big door of the barn. You are welcome to use them. I have also put a shovel out there so you can fill in any holes your dog digs. It is important you put balls back in the crate, they do not do well under the mower (the mower doesn't like it either. Please fill in any large holes your dog digs, so my mower doesn't bog down in one. if you want a bit more room to run your dogs, you may close the 2 big gates and let your dog run in the "parking area". It is all fully fenced. Be aware, the big gate into the back pasture does have a gap under it. THE BACK PASTURE IS OFF LIMITS THERE IS LIVESTOCK BACK THERE! PLEASE PICK UP AFTER YOUR DOG EVEN IN THE BIG AREA. THANK YOU!!!

Retired now. Did horse stuff until I was introduced to agility. Lots of other dog activities followed. Have this beautiful acreage I am happy to share.
