Inspired by our beloved dog, Storm, who found his bliss in these very waters, we’ve created a sanctuary in his memory not just for him, but for all dogs who love to swim, play, and simply be the happiest versions of themselves. Nestled in the heart of our tranquil backyard, our pool offers a serene escape for dogs and their owners alike. Designed with love, it’s the perfect size for dogs of all breeds to swim comfortably and safely. The pool is equipped with easy-access steps. The deep end of the pool is approximately 5 feet deep and the shallowest part is approximately 3 feet deep. While your fur baby enjoys the pool, relax on our poolside loungers or on patio chairs shaded under an umbrella. Doggy lifejackets will not be available on site but it is recommended to bring your own. Please bring your own dog toys/balls and towels. Please note the pool is a chlorine pool. There is a hose available if you would like to rinse off your dog after swimming. We’d like to ask all visitors to please brush their pups before visiting the pool. It helps to manage the hair left over in the pool and for other guests experiences. Trails are more like hiking in the woods and not suited for bikes or any other equipment. Large pond where your dogs would love to swim for hours. You can park your vehicle near the pond. POND IS 10 FT DEEP. Sorry for safety reasons the Paddle boats are not for public use. Rubber boots are strongly recommended. Guests, please, pick up after your dogs. Drop trash in the big metal bin. You can enjoy trails through the fields as well as the pine forest and heavier bush trails. Water is available at the barn area (by the firepits) Come enjoy the fresh air and quiet!

***Charges are in USD*** We at BHS understand that letting your dog run and play is so important! But some dogs aren't suitable for dog parks or social areas. Our private, fully fenced half acre yard is the perfect place to let your (reactive or otherwise) dog just be a dog and get some freedom! Please check in at the front desk to get the key to the yard, and clean up after yourself. There are water bowls in the yard, but please bring your own water. There are trees providing shady areas throughout the day. If bringing back the key when we are not open, please put it in the Mailbox, located beside our Front Doors. When we are open, our receptionists will gladly take the key back from you! All the fees go directly to the animals in our case, and we are a registered charity and no-kill shelter. When the hay is high and close to being cut, the outer headlands of the fields will be cut down to make walking easier. Just outside of the city, private space to let your pup run, train and just enjoy being outside.
