The Langley Animal Protection Society (LAPS), a registered non-profit charitable organization, dedicated to supporting healthy human-animal connections through leadership, education, programs, and municipal services. Through a variety of essential services LAPS aims to ensure that pets can be with the people who love them and if faced with the need for a new family are supported with their emotional, physical and physiological needs during the transition of their life. LAPS provides a range of emergency shelter services to care for animals in need, as well as social programs designed to assist pet owners. These initiatives include food banking, spay/neuter services, access to urgent veterinary care and emergency boarding for people freeing interpersonal violence or faced with housing insecurity. By offering these crucial resources, LAPS seeks to alleviate the pressures faced by pet owners during challenging times and to prevent unnecessary separation of pets from their families. By using Sniffspot we are not only supporting the connection between guardians and their dogs which is part of our mission but the revenue generated will go toward helping fund our social service programs.

With lots of room to run and play, your pup will love the open space and the variety of scents to discover under the shade of some big trees. There’s even a small trailer at the far end of the yard, perfect for curious noses! For a unique touch, our friendly horse is nearby in a separate fenced area in the barn, adding a bit of farm charm to your dog’s adventure. It’s a peaceful and private spot for dogs to roam freely, unwind, or play to their heart’s content. Whether you’re looking for a safe place to let your dog run or just want a change of scenery, we welcome you to enjoy our property! DISCLAIMER!!! Since this space is in a horse farm and shared with the horses, you may see horse manure around. We do our best to clean all up before your visit, however, this a 2 acre land we probably won’t get to clean up completely everyday. Please keep this in mind before booking our farm like spot for your next visit 😊

22+ acre property with 20 acres that is fully/securely fenced. The front half is an open field & orchard, the back is forested and has maintained trails throughout. There's covered seating in the field & woods, portapotty, drinking water station, toys etc - see amenities for more details. There are seasonal streams, ponds in the woods this time of year, plus extra puddles & mud during/after moderate-heavy rain. Foot bridges and woodchips keep the main trails in decent shape for walking but there are plenty of muddy areas to explore so expect a wet, dirty dog - waterproof traction boots (muckboots etc) recommended. There's a dogwash station (elevated, tethers, sidewalls) for faster cleaning that's easy on the back and keeps clothing drier; bring your own towels. Reservations are available up to 30 days in advance. Some days fill fast but plans can change & bookings get modified/canceled (2+hrs beforehand) - check back for an opening if interested. Thank you for being considerate of our space by reading and abiding by SS and spot specific rules and asking all who accompany you to do the same. First time visitors get an auto-message 2hrs beforehand with helpful info.

IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD Give your dog wide open space to run and play here on a large acreage right in town. Coming here will feel like you are in the country with the beauty of the mountains, a field to run in and a trail to hike in. *Please note that the acreage is a total of 86 acres including the crop areas. There is very little time that the crop area is restricted. When the pumpkins are grown, it is fun to walk up the rows and we welcome the pups to be in there, take photos etc. If you visit during planting, we ask the dogs stay out of that area as that can damage the crop. There is lots of space to run and walk/hike. The perimeter trail is approximately 3.5km. There is short grass, tall grass the dogs can go in and out all over the field in the front and middle of the property. As well as up the hill trail.
