When you come by please come and take a bouquet of sunflowers or as many you can hold! Sunflowers are in season from late July to September. Witness our honey bees enjoying the red, yellow and darker pollen. You find beautiful hybrids that our bees have cross pollinated over the years.

We absolutely loved the dog leash free area. It was great to have a sign on the white barn to show we were in the right place. It would be helpful to have a couple of signs with arrows to make sure we took the correct paths to the leash free area; the map was very helpful (I printed it so we could follow it). We have large dogs who enjoyed romping through the tall vegetation and investigating the pond; I hope they didn't traumatize the aquatic life. It was neat to see the old sunflower stalks; they'll be beautiful in the fall. Thank you, Daniel, for sending a note ahead of our visit to say that we should bring boots in case of standing water. We definitely plan to book again.
Amazing space, and beautiful property. Fully fenced except for a portion of the pond, your dog would have to fully swim to cross it. Our dogs had so much fun, it was such a nice opportunity for our rescue. They even waded in the pond a little!
Super cute and clean. The hosts are very communicative and friendly :)
The space itself was nice and big, loved the directions given by the host. The map really helped us decipher what was leashed and what was the leash-free area. The host recommended boots and I'm glad because it was fairly muddy, to be expected this time of year. I will say that the grass was a little tall and the terrain uneven in the off leash area and my dogs are rather small so it was hard for all of us to maneuver around but we managed. Also as others have said there are dogs that come up and bark but they are at a good distance and we just kept walking. We enjoyed our day
This was such a great SniffSpot! Our Vizsla had an absolute blast running and exploring through the tall grass and trees. We live in the city and seeing the joy on her face of her running off leash safely in nature is the best feeling. With the amount of space, we were able to do some mantrailing/recall training. Lots of areas to run and hide for your pup to sniff out a trail. There are some neighbouring properties with dogs along the fence line as others have mentioned but we used it as an opportunity to practice our ‘leave it’ command :) Overall we left with one muddy and very happy pup. We loved it and will definitely be back in the summer! Thanks Daniel and Rachelle for sharing your beautiful property!
If I could have found the entrance to the fenced in area I probably would have rated it higher. I wanted to love this place. I wore my boots. I parked at the barn. I saw the bees and the chickens Your SniffSpot guests shouldn’t have to work that hard. Perhaps if you had been on site just for the first visit that would have been helpful? You may think your map is clear but picture being in the rain trying to use your phone there doesn’t seem to be a path to take? Before you say the map is printable that is too much work. You should consider directional signage. I was so looking forward to this spot because of the sunflowers and it’s really close to my home.
Great private dog park! Lots of space to run free.
Our three pups had a blast running around in the muddy fields! What a fun experience! Make sure you wear your rain boots!
I've come here multiple times and will continue to do so!
Great spot! There were neighbourhood dogs in their yards that were running the fence barking at us which was fine with me - a great training opportunity actually! However if you have a dog that would be bothered by that this might not be the best place for them.
