55Owners were super nice and were able to squeeze us in today on short notice! I loved the off leash area, however it is important to note that the fenced in area faces neighbours backyards. We were able to see one of the neighbours dogs barking at us, and thankfully this was not an issue. Overall, the place was very nice, and it seems like the perfect spot for a doggie play date! 55I am so grateful this place exists. My dog Lua and I have been coming here for a few months now and it was always a super pleasant experience. The fence is for sure safe for medium to large dogs (sometimes you can see that animals dug underneath the fence and a smaller dog could maybe fit through). Going there definitely changed our life since it gives an amazing opportunity to train off leash and simply having time to run and roll in the mud for your dog. 45Beautiful spot! Not another dog or person in sight which was perfect for our pup! The only downside is there’s a small part of the property that does not have fencing! On the outer part of the small pond that’s to your left once you enter the fence. Thankfully my dog has pretty good recall, however if your dog is a runner/ if you are looking for a 100% fenced lot THIS IS NOT! otherwise it’s an amazing spot to bring your dog and we will definitely be returning! 55My family and I brought 4 dogs, 2 of who are quite reactive, to enjoy nature and have the chance to run without worrying about running into other dogs. They all had a blast! We will definitely be back! We did have one little escape artist slip under the fence into a neighbor's backyard but I would think most dogs 20 lbs and up would not be able to do that. Claire v.

55We had such a great time today! For the directionally challenged (me) it took a bit to find the entrance, an arrow with “leash free this way” would have been great, but my dogs had a great time just trying to find the gate!
I have a very reactive rescue that cannot be off leash as she will run away, but to see her run free was amazing and we will absolutely be booking this property again!

Welcome to Goldenwood Acres! On our 26 acre hobby farm, we have a 6 acre fully fenced farm field/dog park. Ride up and park at the white barn, and walk your leashed puppers to the field past our gardens, woodlots, and ponds. From the barn to the dog park you will get familiar with our surroundings and other fences. There is access to the forest and two ponds on the property. Crossing through the tree line, you have private access to the 6-acre field. Four-foot tall fencing is installed for your security.
The best time to come is May to September. Come walk between the sunflower rows that grow up to 10 feet tall in the late summer! We cut the field between the sunflowers, make trails and play spots. We also leave big areas untouched for our honeybees (hives located in the other field).
Enjoy seeing natural landscapes, trees, and privacy. Have fun, play catch and let your animal have unleashed freedom!
We have uploaded a printable "safety map" for each season, that contains a legend for your use. Note the fire pit is not available during the winter season. Park has one main gate.
This season we will also be placing picnic tables with a BBQ for large groups. I recommend booking the summer weekends in advance as they will fill up fast!
Fencing Details:
The 6-acre Dog Park Field is permanently fenced with approximately 2,500 linear feet of 4’ tall farm fence. The farm fence consists of professionally installed 2” by 4” squares of wire mesh (commonly used for smaller livestock such as sheep, donkey, cows, etc) and cedar posts. If you look at the photos you can see the locations of the gate on the main photo or on “safety map” (see photos and captions).
We have more fencing on other parts of the property outside of our dog park in case your dog does not have good recall. Refer to the safety map (see photos).
